Chapter 28 - Chapter 28

In a small, bustling restaurant in Bhopal, Luv sat alone at a corner table, phone pressed to his ear, frustration evident on his face.

"What?! You didn't find any information on those two boys?!" he hissed into the phone. "I'm telling you, they studying somewhere in a Bhopal college! And you're saying they haven't shown up there either?!"

He thinks in his mind, 'If I speak to them directly, the entire matter will become clear. I'll then be able to share a much more comprehensive information on my vlog.

With an exasperated sigh, he leaned back in his chair, rubbing his temples. His mind raced. Okay, okay… I managed to get some info from police servers—addresses, little details—but nothing useful yet. If I don't figure this out soon…

Luv glanced around the restaurant, scanning the noisy atmosphere. The place was filled with chattering customers, the smell of sizzling food, and the distant clatter of plates. His eyes landed on the TV mounted on the wall. The news was playing, but it was the usual dull political nonsense.

"Tch. News these days never show the real stuff," he muttered, ruffling his hair in frustration.

Luv said " How was i supposed to get more information on those strange incidents? People mysteriously falling unconscious… bizarre, unnatural events… If i didn't dig up something interesting soon, my channel Mystigan would lose subscribers!"

Just as he was about to sink further into his thoughts, a sharp voice snapped him out of it.

"Hey, boy! You want something or not? If not, than empty the table!"

Luv turned to see a middle-aged woman standing behind him, arms crossed, her expression unimpressed.

With sudden hope in his eyes, he blurted out, "I need mystery and unexpected events news! Anything strange or spooky happening around here? Please, please tell me!"

The woman thought he is a news channel reporter , So she blinked at him. Then, with a blank face, she said, "Oh no, you got it all wrong. I'm just a restaurant staff member."

Luv's excitement crashed instantly. His shoulders slumped. "Oh… okay…"

But then, the woman added casually, "Though, I do know something interesting that might help you."

Luv's head snapped up. His eyes lit up like a kid in a candy store. He immediately grabbed his camera, flipping it open. "Perfect! I'll record you for my vlog! Just start talking, tell me everything—"

But before he could hit record, the woman held up a hand.

"First, order something."

Luv froze. "Huh?"

"This is a restaurant, not a news studio. You want my information, order food first."

Luv groaned but quickly waved at a waiter. "Fine, fine! I'll have one or two of here most famous veg dishes—happy now?"

The woman nodded, satisfied. As soon as the order was placed, she leaned in, ready to speak. Luv eagerly positioned his camera, getting ready to film.

"Alright, tell me—"

Just then, his phone buzzed with a notification. He glanced at the screen.

"Your data is over."

Luv's jaw dropped.

"Nooooo! Not now!" he cried dramatically, shaking his phone.

The woman raised an eyebrow. "You don't even have internet which type of news reporter you are totally not professional? And you wanted to take a video? Hah!" She waved him off. "Eat fast and leave."

Luv looked up, betrayed. "Wait, wait, don't go! And i think you also understand wrong think about me , I'm kind of a big deal on social media, you know!" Somewhere you listen my old channel name justcode vlogs, my name is luv and i am very famous now a days. The woman gave him a deadpan look. "Never heard of you."

And with that, she walked away, leaving Luv staring after her.

Meanwhile , As Anika stepped into the room, Madhav and Meera froze in shock. Their minds raced with questions—why was she here? What was going on?

Before they could say anything, Mohit walked out of the washroom, still wiping his hands. The moment he saw Anika, he stopped dead in his tracks. It seemed like he had forgotten how to breathe.

Anika? " Mohit blurted out, stepping toward her. "What are you doing here—"

But before he could finish, Yash suddenly sprang into action. With a dramatic flair, he rushed to Anika's side, pulling out a handful of fresh flowers from seemingly nowhere. He raised both hands, presenting them like a knight offering tribute to his queen.

"Anika, please marry me!" Yash declared with utmost sincerity. "You are perfect for me!"

Silence.

A deep, awkward silence filled the room. Even the wind outside seemed to pause. Every single person stared at Yash, their expressions ranging from stunned disbelief to utter confusion.

Madhav blinked. Meera's mouth hung open. Even grandfather kamal raised an eyebrow, amused.

Mohit, however, snapped out of his shock first. His face twitched in irritation as he stepped between Yash and Anika. "Hey, hey! Don't cross the line!" he scolded, pushing Yash back slightly. "Have you forgotten how to respect women?"

Yash, still holding the flowers, pouted. "What? I was just expressing my feelings!"

Grandfather Kamal chuckled, watching the scene unfold like an entertaining play. With a warm smile, he said, "Ah, finally! Our guest has arrived—the one we've been waiting for so long."

Mohit, still glaring at Yash, turned to grandfather kamal and huffed. "Yes, and maybe we should also remind certain people to respect their guests properly! "

And Don't forget, Yash, many girls' marriage proposals are waiting for you.

Anika completely try to ignored Yash and his hopeful bouquet, walking past him as if he didn't even exist. Yash, still frozen in his dramatic pose, slowly lowered the flowers.

Without sparing him a glance, Anika moved straight toward Meera.

Meera, still surprised by her sudden arrival, asked, "Why are you here? And why my grandfather's house, of all places?"

Anika said "Your grandfather's staff members told me that you, Madhav, and Mohit needed my help. And that you were the ones who sent them to find me."

Meera frowned, exchanging a confused glance with Madhav. "We sent them?" she repeated, puzzled. "We're already drowning in enough chaos here—why would we have sent for you?"suddenly she i know, So she seen to grandfather face.

And her grandfather try to ignored .

Before Anika could respond, two bodyguards stepped forward. One of them had his hand wrapped in bloodied cloth, his face pale from pain.

Grandfather Kamal turned to them. "Thank you for your efforts," he said, his voice calm yet firm. Then his eyes landed on the injured bodyguard. "How did you get that wound?"

The bodyguard hesitated for a moment before answering. "Sir, when we approached this girl, she was walking with some woman—"

"Not some woman," Anika interrupted, her tone sharp. "It was Miss Kajal."

"Right… Miss Kajal," the bodyguard corrected himself. "When we got close, we pushed her aside and grabbed the girl's hand, but suddenly... "We were attacked by her Da-Tan. Before I could react, it bit into my hand. Half of it was nearly devoured."

At this, a murmur ran through the room. Mohit took a step back, uneasy. Madhav's expression tensed.

Grandfather Kamal, however, simply smiled. "You've done well," he said, then turned toward Centaur. "Please, heal his wound."

Centaur stepped forward, placing a large, firm hand over the bodyguard's injured arm. A warm, glowing magical circle energy spread from his palm, and within seconds, the wounds sealed, flesh regrowing as if time itself had reversed. The bodyguard flexed his newly healed fingers, looking both amazed and relieved.

Once that was done, Grandfather Kamal turned his gaze back to Anika. "So... where is this Da-Tan now?"

Anika, low voice , casually patted her bag.

"Da-Tan is inside," she said casually.

Grandfather Kamal nodded. "Let me see."

With careful hands, Anika unzipped the bag and gently pulled out a strange, furry creature. Da-Tan, a small, magical beast with four ear and blue- gray colour, lay curled up in her hands, its chest rising and falling in a peaceful sleep.

The room fell silent as everyone stared. Even Madhav, who had seen many strange things recently, couldn't help but lean in closer.

"It's… sleeping?" Yash asked, squinting.

"Yes," Anika confirmed. "On the way here, I gave it a carrot. That seemed to calm it down."

She carefully placed Da-Tan in Grandfather Kamal's hands. He examined the creature with a thoughtful expression. "Its health seems stable," he remarked, nodding in approval.

Madhav, however, was still puzzled. "Grandfather, why did you call Anika here? Why did she need to come to your place?"

Grandfather Kamal's expression grew serious. "Because Anika's life is in danger."

The weight of his words settled heavily in the room. Anika raised an eyebrow.

Grandfather continued, "By taking Da-Tan into her care, she has unknowingly attracted the attention of many dangerous creatures. There are forces in this world beyond our understanding—unbelievable creatures.

Madhav frowned, thinking over the words. He glanced at Anika, who still looked calm despite the warning.

After a moment of silence, Madhav sighed. "Alright. I get it."

The phone's ring sliced through the air, finding Grandfather Kamal's ear. He answered, and then... a pregnant silence. He merely listened, the cogs of thought visibly turning behind his aged eyes. Here Yash also observed the sudden reaction on his grandfather's face.

Than , Grandfather Kamal nodded approvingly. turning towards Centaur, he said, "My brother will take you somewhere for Raj's treatment. Everything you need to know will be explained there." So move fastly.

Centaur stepped forward, his tall, imposing figure giving off an aura of quiet wisdom. He simply said, "Follow me."

As Madhav, Mohit, and Meera stepped into the garden, by following the Centaur, the cool night air carried the faint scent of flowers.

Madhav turned to Meera, frowning. "Why did you come with us?"

Meera shot a Little at him an annoyed look. "What do you mean? I'm coming with you, obviously. I'm not staying back while you all run off to who knows where."

Madhav sighed, realizing there was no point in arguing.

A few steps away, Anika stood near Mohit, watching the exchange with mild amusement. Mohit leaned toward her and whispered, "Listen, don't talk to Yash. I don't think he's a good person."

Anika raised an eyebrow, then smirked. "Okay," she said simply, though it was clear she found his concern unnecessary.

Centaur, standing in the center of the garden, called out, "Come closer to me."

The air suddenly felt heavier, charged with something unseen. Madhav, Mohit, and Meera stepped forward, their curiosity mingled with a hint of apprehension.

Centaur lifted his hand.

Instantly, a massive magic circle erupted into existence above them, glowing with intricate patterns of swirling symbols and unknown runes. Sparks of electric energy crackled through the air, making the hair on their arms stand on end. The entire garden seemed to hum with raw magical power.

A low, deep vibration echoed through the air as the energy intensified.

"Hold on," Centaur said.

And they disappeared in a flash of light.

Here by looking at Anika, Yash said, "And they teleported!" It was fascinating to see someone do teleportation magic; Anika for you first time experiencing this type of magic. Anika replied, "Yeah.

Grandfather Kamal turned to Anika, his expression calm yet firm. "Our servant will show you to a room that's perfect for you. Go and get some rest."

Anika folded her arms, narrowing her eyes. "So that means I can't go back to my college?"

Grandfather Kamal gave a slow nod. "For now, yes. But don't worry about your studies or your parents. I will handle everything. Soon, you'll be able to return without any issues."

Anika let out a frustrated sigh but said nothing more. She could tell arguing would be pointless.

Just then, the heavy wooden doors of the hall burst open. A bodyguard stumbled in, his uniform torn, his face smeared with blood. His breath came in ragged gasps as he clutched his side.

"Sir—!" he managed, his voice strained. "A group of people forced their way through the main gate. We tried to stop them, but they were… unnatural. Our men have been injured—we couldn't hold them back!"

Grandfather Kamal's eyes darkened, his expression turning grim. The air in the room seemed to shift, as if something unseen had just stirred awake.

Anika stiffened. "Who are they?" Yash attitude smile he thought in his mind ,'now i get best chance to show my power infront of this girl.'

The bodyguard wiped the blood from his forehead, his hands shaking. "I don't know, but they're coming straight for this house."
