Chapter 399 - An Obvious Secret Crush

"What?! The Supreme Guardian is in cahoots with the Stellaron, and even the Eternal Freeze was caused by the Supreme Guardian using the Stellaron…?"

In the warm room, Caelus crossed his legs, rubbed his temples, and pondered the secrets of Belobog he had obtained almost without lifting a finger.

But he was just a baby less than two months old. Even if such important information was suddenly thrust upon him, he didn't know what to do.

Maybe I should just try to meet up with the Express crew first. The communication seemed to be back online after that person left anyway…

"B-Big Brother…"

As Caelus pondered deeply, a trembling voice sounded beside him. Following the sound, he saw a small, white-haired girl in a red coat standing nervously beside him, holding a tea tray: "Please have some tea…"

"It's Clara… Don't be so nervous, Big Brother isn't a bad person."

Caelus took the teacup and smiled at Clara. Unfortunately, his goodwill clearly didn't get through. Her expression remained stiff, and she just nodded frantically: "Yes! I-I'm not afraid…"

Seeing this, even Caelus couldn't help but feel awkward inwardly—How did it come to this? I'm a great Trailblazer, but now I seem like a villain who runs rampant, bullying men and dominating women… All he did was beat up a few people, demolish some buildings, and raid some trash cans.

Besides, apart from digging through trash cans, he wasn't the one who did the rest.

"Um, excuse me, is the big sister… not here?"

"Ah, she seems to have left?"

Caelus's answer seemed to bring Clara some relief. She glanced around, confirmed that the terrifying figure wasn't present, and then cautiously spoke, "Big Brother, could you please ask the big sister later not to hit Mr. Svarog anymore? If-if he gets kicked again, Mr. Svarog might fall apart…"

"Well, uh, I'll try my best…?"

A drop of cold sweat trickled down Caelus's temple. It wasn't that he didn't want to help this cute little girl, but—he was just a kidnapped accessory. What right did he have to make that person listen to him?

Since the attack at Qlipoth Fort that day, he had been captured by the perpetrator of the attack and taken to the Underworld. Bronya and the Supreme Guardian Cocolia were also brought along. The perpetrator was none other than the mysterious white-haired woman he had already encountered twice.

Caelus didn't know what this white-haired woman's goal was. Anyway, after capturing Cocolia and Bronya, she didn't bother with them anymore, just dumping them in the Underworld to fend for themselves. Instead, she kept a close eye on him, even saying she would help him figure out what exactly had happened on the planet Jarilo-VI…

Putting other things aside, at least this woman's help was indeed very practical. She led him all the way to the robot named Svarog, then kicked the uncooperative robot until it was half-scrapped, forcefully copying the intelligence for him, and incidentally took over its base for him to rest.

Caelus originally thought that obtaining such important information would require running errands seven or eight times, changing objectives five or six times, collecting three or four tokens, and then fighting a boss battle. But in the end, he didn't do anything along the way, and everything went surprisingly smoothly.

If there was one slightly problematic point, it was that Caelus always felt this woman seemed to be deliberately taking detours, wandering around, and slacking off… After all, judging from her strength and performance, if she really wanted to help him get the information, she could probably have gotten everything done within ten minutes of arriving in the Underworld.

The actual situation was that she led him around in circles, spending several days as if touring the Underworld. Caelus wasn't being modest, but he felt it was practically no different from a date.

Furthermore, judging by the 'kill gods when encountering gods, kill buddhas when encountering buddhas' combat power she displayed during their time together… How on earth did he manage to stab her during their first encounter?

After much thought, Caelus could only come to one conclusion—this woman liked him!

Isn't this an obvious secret crush?! That's why she racked her brains to spend time alone with him. She definitely went easy on him during their first meeting, which was why he could win—haha, was he getting a bit ahead of himself thinking like this? If March 7th found out, she would definitely laugh at him again.

Anyway, with the cute junior Twilight on the train and the mysterious big sister outside, he was definitely a protagonist.

And now, Caelus had pretty much figured out all the information obtained from Svarog. That person who always appeared mysteriously had mysteriously disappeared again. Caelus, who had been happily enjoying himself away from the Express, felt it was time to end this Underworld trip.

He happened to hear that Cocolia and Bronya were planning something big in the Underworld. He could contact the Express crew and give them a big surprise raid—coincidentally, he hadn't seen Twilight and the others for quite a while, and he missed them terribly~

"Sorry, Clara, I've troubled you these past two days." Caelus patted the trembling Clara's head comfortingly. "Don't be afraid, that big sister has already left, and I should be leaving soon too. I've seen the situation in the Underworld these few days. Don't worry, once I go up, I'll definitely make that Supreme Guardian help you solve the problems!"

"The Supreme Guardian? R-really? Will she listen…"

"Don't worry, with us around, she'll have to listen even if she doesn't want to~" Caelus waved his hand casually, then stood up, taking out his communicator to contact the Express crew while walking towards the exit of the base.

Indeed, life always throws various difficulties, making things not go as planned. But a few days ago, March 7th taught him a universal solution that the Express crew could use when facing difficulties on Jarilo-VI… That was summoning Twilight!

Whether it was a fussy robot, the clueless Wildfire, or the Supreme Guardian obsessed with the Stellaron, a single punch from Twilight should be able to solve everything. Originally, Caelus felt this method was unreliable, but these past few days, that woman had perfectly demonstrated just how effective this method was.

Lady Supreme Guardian, you wouldn't want Belobog to be bullied, right? Although he wouldn't be as violent as her, maybe threatening Cocolia a bit first could be worth a try?

"Is this holding the Supreme Guardian hostage to command Belobog, or holding Belobog hostage to command the Supreme Guardian…" Walking out of the base, Caelus looked up at the stone ceiling above and couldn't help but sigh.

"Pity, either way, it's just wishful thinking!" A righteous shout rang out from ahead. "Your conspiracy ends now!"
