Chapter 73: A Special Request
It was a sunny afternoon in Los Angeles, and Gabriel was at home, preparing something he had been rehearsing for days. He had never been one to express emotions easily, but with Stassie, things were different. Ever since he had met her, she had slowly broken down his barriers, and now he knew it was time to take a step forward.
Stassie was at her house, thinking it would be just another casual encounter with Gabriel, like so many others in the past few months. She had no idea what was coming.
Gabriel spent the morning organizing every detail. He chose a special place: a private park that he had reserved just for the two of them. It was a peaceful setting, surrounded by tall trees and vibrant flowers. He prepared a small picnic with their favorite foods, something simple but full of meaning.
In his mind, he repeated what he would say. Although he was confident in missions and high-pressure situations, this moment seemed much more challenging. He looked at the discreet but elegant ring he had chosen to symbolize the proposal. It wasn't an engagement ring, but a gift that represented the beginning of a deeper commitment.
Stassie arrived on time, driving to the place Gabriel had mentioned. When she got out of the car, she saw him waiting next to a blanket spread out on the lawn, with a picnic basket beside him. Gabriel was wearing a casual t-shirt and jeans, a combination that made him even more charming.
"Is this all for me?" she asked, smiling as she approached.
Gabriel gave her a rare smile, holding out his hand to her. "Of course. Only the best for you."
Stassie sat down next to him, looking around. "It's beautiful here. How did you find this place?"
"I looked for something special, like you deserve," he replied, his voice softer than usual.
She laughed, touching his arm. "You look different today... More nervous?"
Gabriel chuckled softly, shaking his head. "Maybe just a little."
After sharing a few laughs and talking about lighthearted things, Gabriel realized it was time to propose. He took a deep breath, trying to calm the nervousness that suddenly took over him.
"Stassie," he began, looking directly at her.
She immediately noticed the serious tone in his voice and frowned curiously. "What is it, Gabriel?"
He took her hand, intertwining their fingers. "Since you came into my life, everything has changed. You've brought a light that I didn't know I needed. You're strong, funny, kind... and I know I'm not the easiest guy to deal with, but you make me want to be better, every day."
Stassie fell silent, her eyes starting to shine with tears. "Gabriel..."
"I never thought I'd say this, but I want more. I want you to officially be my girlfriend, if you want."
He took the small box with the ring and opened it. The ring had a delicate design, with a discreet stone in the center, something elegant and perfect for her.
Stassie brought her hand to her mouth, completely surprised. "Are you serious? Gabriel, of course I want it!"
Before he could say anything else, she pulled him into a kiss, deep and full of emotion.
When the kiss ended, Stassie looked at the ring and smiled. "It's beautiful. You nailed it."
Gabriel placed the ring on her finger, taking her hand right after. "I just wanted something to remind you how much you mean to me."
She threw herself into his arms, laughing happily. "You're amazing, you know? I don't even know how I got so lucky to find you."
"Lucky me, Stassie," he replied, kissing her forehead.
The two spent the rest of the afternoon together, enjoying the moment and talking about the future. Gabriel opened his heart even more, something rare for him. He shared stories of his life, his fears, and how being with her made him feel like, for the first time, he could have something normal and real.
Later, when Stassie got home, she couldn't contain her excitement. Her first call was to Kylie, who answered on the first ring.
"Ky! He asked me out!" Stassie screamed on the other end of the line.
Kylie let out a squeal of joy, causing Stormi to look at her mother curiously. "Oh my God, girlfriend! I knew this was going to happen! How was it? Tell me everything!"
Stassie recounted every detail, from the venue to Gabriel's words. Kylie was enchanted, celebrating each moment as if it were her own.
"You deserve all the happiness in the world, Stass. And I couldn't imagine anyone better for you than him," Kylie said, excited.
"Me neither, Ky. He's everything to me."
That night, as Gabriel sat at home, he reflected on what had happened. For the first time in a long time, he felt like he had something real, something worth protecting outside of his job.
He looked at a picture of Stassie he had taken that day, smiling and wearing the ring. Gabriel wasn't a man of many words, but he knew deep down that she was the person he had been waiting for his whole life to meet.
"I did the right thing," he muttered to himself, a slight smile playing on his lips before he turned off the lights.
The future looked brighter than ever.
Chapter 74: Love in the Spotlight
It was a quiet morning when Stassie, lying in bed with Gabriel still asleep by her side, decided to capture the special moment. Looking at the delicate ring that now adorned her finger, she felt a wave of happiness. With a smile on her face, she took out her phone and took a subtle photo of her hand with the ring shining in the sunlight that came through the window.
She added a simple text to her story: "Saying yes was the easiest decision of my life ❤️".
Stassie hesitated for a second before posting, knowing what it would cause. But she didn't care. She wanted to share with the world the happiness she was feeling. With one tap, the photo went live, and the internet would never be the same again.
Shortly after, Stassie's story began circulating on all platforms. Influencers, fans, and tabloids quickly connected the dots and discovered that the ring could only be a gift from Gabriel.
"Stassie finally confirms her relationship with the most talked-about security guard in the world!"
"The mystery man is off the market! Gabriel asks Stassie to be his girlfriend."
"Gabriel and Stassie: Hollywood's most unexpected and perfect couple?"
News outlets flooded social media with articles, and fans reacted in droves. In the comments, the hashtag #GabrielEStassie began to gain traction:
"This man is a dream. She deserves it, but my heart is broken!"
"We finally know who won Gabriel's heart."
"I want a Gabriel in my life!"
Some celebrities also commented, like Kendall Jenner, who wrote in a tweet: "I knew it all along 😌."
At Stassie's house, Gabriel finally woke up. Seeing the giant smile on her face, he narrowed his eyes suspiciously.
"What did you do?" he asked, his voice hoarse from the morning.
Stassie laughed, showing her phone. "I posted a picture. The media is already freaking out."
He sat up in bed, staring at the screen. Her Instagram story was full of reactions, with messages from friends and family congratulating the couple. He shook his head, but a small smile appeared.
"I should have known this was coming," he said, his tone playful. "Now everyone will know."
"And is there anything wrong with that?" Stassie asked, leaning into him.
Gabriel shrugged. "No. I just need to get ready to see my face everywhere again."
She kissed him, laughing. "You're going to have to get used to it. You're officially mine now. The world needed to know."
At Kylie's mansion, she was drinking coffee when she saw Stassie's Instagram story. A scream escaped her lips. "She did it!" Kylie exclaimed, showing her phone to Kendall, who was standing next to her.
"I told you they were serious," Kendall replied, taking a sip of her juice.
Stormi, who was nearby, looked over curiously. "Is that Gabriel?"
"Yes, sweetie. He and Auntie Stassie are officially dating now," Kylie replied, hugging her daughter.
"I like Gabriel. He's strong," Stormi said with a smile, going back to playing with her toys.
Kylie and Kendall continued to talk about how Stassie seemed happier than ever.
"He's exactly what she needed. Someone who really appreciates her," Kylie commented.
Meanwhile, on Twitter, Gabriel's fandom was going crazy. Old photos of Gabriel began to circulate, including ones from the ad campaign he had done in the past. Fans analyzed every detail, from the style of his ring to the couple's most recent moments.
"They're so cute together, and Gabriel finally seems happy."
"I don't know who's luckier: him having Stassie or her having him."
Compiled videos of the couple began to surface, with romantic music playing in the background, showing the two in casual moments, such as at the gym and during a skydive.
A few TV shows began covering the news, bringing in experts to comment on the relationship.
"Gabriel is a mysterious man who came from the world of special operations. He's not a traditional celebrity, but that only adds to the public's fascination."
"Stassie got what everyone dreams of: the perfect man. Strong, loyal, and now romantic!"
Even Gabriel's old colleagues heard the news and sent messages. He received a text from an old mission partner:
"So you're romantic now? Good luck, brother. You deserve it."
Gabriel laughed as he read it, showing the message to Stassie.
In the afternoon, Gabriel and Stassie decided to go out for lunch at a low-key restaurant. Paparazzi were already waiting for them outside, taking pictures as they walked in hand in hand.
Inside the restaurant, Stassie teased him: "You realize we're the center of attention now, right?"
"You're used to it. I'm learning," he replied, holding her hand across the table.
Stassie smiled. "You are handling this really well. I'm proud of you."
"If it's for you, it's worth it," Gabriel said sincerely, making Stassie's heart skip a beat.
Stassie's post not only confirmed their relationship, it solidified Gabriel as an even more admired figure in the public eye. The man who had previously been known only for his skill and professionalism was now seen as a dedicated and passionate romantic partner.
While the media continued to react, Gabriel and Stassie kept their focus on their relationship, enjoying every moment together, regardless of the attention they received. To them, the world might be watching, but what really mattered was how they felt about each other.
Chapter 75: An Afternoon with the Kids
It was a quiet day at Kylie Jenner's mansion, but with a change in routine. Kylie had decided to go out with Timothée Chalamet for a special lunch. Before leaving, she called Gabriel and Stassie to talk.
"So, here's the deal," Kylie began, adjusting her coat while Timothée waited by the door. "I'm taking Justin with me today" (her other bodyguard), "and leaving the kids here. Stormi and Aire love you both, so I think they'll be fine."
Gabriel, who was standing next to Stassie, raised an eyebrow, already realizing what that meant. "I'm a bodyguard, not a nanny," he joked, crossing his arms.
"You're a man of a thousand talents, Gabriel," Kylie replied with a mischievous smile. "Besides, Stassie's here. So it's perfect."
Stassie laughed, giving Gabriel a gentle shove. "Relax, honey. It'll be fun. They're amazing kids."
Gabriel sighed, but couldn't help but smile when Stormi ran up.
"Gabriel, are you going to play with me?" she asked, her eyes shining. He looked down at the little girl and crouched down to her level.
"It seems so, young lady. What do you want to do?"
"Anything!" Stormi replied, jumping up and down excitedly.
"There, you have your answer," Kylie said, grabbing her bag. She turned to Stassie. "Thanks, friend. I trust you to take care of my little ones and this big one too."
With a smile, she walked out the door, leaving Gabriel and Stassie in charge of Stormi and Aire.
Gabriel quickly realized that Stormi was a child full of energy and imagination. While Stassie took care of Aire, Gabriel was in charge of playing with Stormi in the mansion's huge backyard.
"Are you ready, Gabriel?" Stormi asked, holding a jump rope.
"Ready is my last name," he replied, grabbing the rope.
After several rounds of games which included jumping rope, hide-and-seek, and even an imaginary "fight" where Stormi insisted Gabriel was the dragon and she was the hero Gabriel was sweating and wondering how such a small child had so much energy.
Stassie appeared with Aire in her arms and laughed when she saw Gabriel lying in the grass. "Tired already?"
"This girl has more energy than a whole platoon," he replied, panting.
Stormi put her hands on her hips and declared, "Because I'm strong, just like you!"
Gabriel laughed, sitting up and ruffling her hair. "That's right, little lady."
After a busy morning, it was time for Aire to take a nap. Stassie put him in his crib while Gabriel and Stormi enjoyed some quiet time on the couch.
"Gabriel, do you like taking care of us?" Stormi asked, looking at him curiously.
Gabriel smiled. "Of course I do. But you know, my main job is to protect all of you."
Stormi tilted her head. "But protecting is also caring, right?"
He was surprised by her insight and nodded. "You're right, little one. Protecting is also caring."
Stassie walked back into the room, seeing the sweet exchange between them, and smiled. "You're so good with them, you know?"
Gabriel shrugged. "I just do what I can."
Stormi decided the next activity would be art. She brought out a box full of paints, brushes, and paper and began painting alongside Gabriel and Stassie.
"What are you painting?" Stassie asked, curious to see Stormi's concentration.
"It's Gabriel! With Stassie by his side," Stormi replied, her tongue slightly hanging out as she concentrated on the details.
Gabriel looked down at the paper and laughed. "You made me look really muscular, Stormi. Are you being generous?"
"No, you're just like that," she said with conviction, making everyone laugh.
When Aire woke up, he was also placed on the table, with Stassie helping him make small ink marks on the papers.
As the afternoon drew to a close, Gabriel and Stassie decided to prepare a simple dinner for the kids. Stassie was in charge of making something healthy while Gabriel watched the kids.
"Can you cook?" Stassie asked, looking at him as she chopped the vegetables.
"I can survive," Gabriel replied, making Stormi laugh.
During dinner, the kids were excited, especially Stormi, who continued to tell stories about the day's games.
"Gabriel is the best dragon ever," she declared, making everyone laugh.
When Kylie returned home, she found the kids happy and exhausted, with Stormi asleep on the couch next to Gabriel.
"Well, looks like it was a success," Kylie commented quietly to Stassie.
"It was. Gabriel was amazing with them," Stassie replied, patting his arm.
Gabriel stood up carefully so as not to wake Stormi and looked at Kylie. "Mission accomplished," he said with a smile.
Kylie thanked him warmly. "I knew I could count on you guys."
Gabriel grabbed his jacket as Stassie said goodbye to the kids. As they left, Kylie watched through the window as the two left, smiling.
"They really make a beautiful couple," she commented to herself, pleased that everything had gone so well.
The afternoon had been simple but meaningful, strengthening the bonds between Gabriel, Stassie and the children. It was clear that, in addition to being a dedicated professional, Gabriel had a gentle and protective side that won over not only the adults, but also the little ones who were part of the Kardashian-Jenner's lives.
