Kraven burst into a peal of laughter, the loud amusement ringing through the air.
Isadora gulped, disturbed by the sound. She had said that to irk him but who knew he would derive amusement from it.
Kraven's laughter melted into deep chuckles, a wicked grin curling his lips. His eerily silver eyes pinned on Isadora like the force of a predator marking its prey.
Her body tensed at the mere sight of them, they glimmered like he was about to unleash havoc.
"Raviel! A spar, I'd like to demonstrate what a deadly combat will look like to our crowned warriors."
At his outburst murmurs filtered through from the other warriors. They were all eager to witness such a spar, it was a rare occasion.
"Now this is something worth watching," Logi said, sitting at the top of the tower, watching the entire display from the beginning.
He took a bite from his apple and said with a mouthful. "I'm looking forward to seeing some blood."
