Isadora shivered deeply as the realization sank in. In the mating union, they are married now. Never in her entire life did she think it would ever happen, and to top it all, they were mated.

"Tell me what, darling?" Kraven asked, discerning a strain in the bond. He can't read her thoughts, but if the pressure was deep enough to make the bond pulse, he could very well tell if something was bothering her.

She narrowed her eyes in confusion.
"This wasn't just about the mating ritual, darling."
"What are you talking about?"
