Lyla stirred awake at the soft vibration of her phone beside her pillow. She groaned, burying her face deeper into the blanket. It was too early—too peaceful—to be dealing with anything right now.
Yet, the persistent buzzing wouldn't stop.
With a sigh, she stretched out her hand, grabbing the phone and squinting at the bright screen. Hundreds of notifications.

Rose: Lyla, don't go online. Stay off the internet. Call me when you wake up.
