The horse was the same size as the carriage itself, which was already quite large.
And it was no ordinary horse. It was fully black in color, with glowing blue eyes. Theo could process that, but what truly unsettled him were its mist-like hooves that didn't even seem to touch the ground.
It was as if its hooves were ethereal, something not of the physical world.
"Such a majestic creature…" Theo muttered, and Bram beside him nodded in agreement.
"That is the most prestigious carriage beast the Merrick family owns, young master," Clara said as she walked up beside him, now traveling right behind Theo.
"I see…" Theo moved forward, and it wasn't until he reached the last step that he truly grasped just how big the horse was.
It was nearly three times his size, both in height and breadth.
The Baron quickly moved to stand beside the first carriage before turning toward his children.
