Guilliman, crouched atop a small rock, could be seen with a look of calming focus on his face. His hair danced in the wind as he looked forward.
It was finally that day.
Two weeks of striving fighting against dreadful monsters, to grow stronger—finally they would be sieging the outpost. It could either lead them to salvation or be a total waste of time.
One thing that couldn't be a waste, though, was the strength they had accumulated; it was the key to this door and many that would follow.
'They are in position, what's taking so long?'
Guilliman thought in his mind as he looked towards the other side of the outpost. There, Victoria and the main strike team were assembled to take down the mythic beast.
However, they didn't have a distraction of sorts, one that would draw the attention of the sentries on the right gate.
That distraction would be Guilliman and his men.
'Being a walking target is so stressful,' he smiled bitterly.
