Vanra's eyes widened as he stared at Nova in shock, as did the man and the woman, since they did not think that Nova would have been able to handle something like that and given the amount of energy that was being given off, for someone at his level it seemed almost impossible, but he was managing to do it, despite the pain.
"How are you able to do that when the amount of mana I sense from you is limited..." Vanra muttered as he stared at Nova and the entire temple rumbled and shook even more, and roars echoed throughout the temple as the vortex of swirling dark energy shrunk even further.
The man and the woman looked at him carefully, ready to intervene if they needed to since they could see the pain he was in through his facial expressions.
Nova gritted his teeth as some of the energy from the shard flowed into his body, causing a jolt of pain, though he did not stop, not even for a second; he was determined to push through.
