The doorbell rang loudly as Celina pushed the tavern door open and stepped inside. The men and women drinking paused their chatter to glance at the newcomer. When they saw it was just a little girl in a cloak, they lost interest and resumed their conversation and drinking.
"Welcome to the City of Cinderdale, how may I be of help?" The receptionist behind the counter asked with a fake smile plastered on her face.
"I'd like to book a room for two nights, plus the meal"
"That would be one gold coin and nine copper," she said.
Celina looked nervous. She didn't have any copper... just bronze and silver... and she couldn't risk pulling out a gold coin from her dimensional ring. That would draw too much attention.
"Are you going to pay?" The receptionist snapped, jolting her out of her thoughts. Her tone has grown slightly annoyed.
"How much for three nights?"
"That would be one gold and three bronze"
