(In Lost City...)
Beda panted as she ran down the mountain as the sun was setting. She repeatedly glanced at the timer in her hand and increased her pace whenever she saw how many minutes she had left.
When she started the training more than eight months ago, Aetherius had given her one hour to run from the palace to the top of the mountain. But as time passed, he reduced the time, and presently, she had ten minutes to run from the mountaintop to the palace.
"Damnit! I have less than two minutes left!" She cursed under her breath, as she increased her pace.
Beda lowered her head, staring at the mana ring on her finger. She had the urge to use her teleportation skills.
But if she does, Aetherius would know. It was his mana that was stored in the ring after all. She gritted her teeth, dismissing the thought from her head.
"I rather run faster so he won't compare me to her!" She said and kept on running faster.
