Lucian paused for a few seconds but soon recollected himself and sat on the mat in the same kneeling sitting position, " Eat ", Hikaru said his eyes still closed.
He picked up a bowl and began slurping the contents greedily, When Hikaru started teaching him he would always prepare a bowl of noodles for Lucian.
That was were Lucian learnt to love noodles, he would always prepare it for himself and asked his father to stock as many ramen packets as he could, Hikaru would laugh at his greedy eating stating his daughter also loved ramen noodles.
No matter how he cooked it, it would never be as delicious as how his martial arts master would prepare it, so he slurped the noodles while focusing on his master.
He watched ever breath, every shiver, every drop of sweat roll down his face, his eyes were still sealed shut as if in a prayer, he soon finished his bowl and dropped it.
" Eat the other one ", Lucian stared blankly at the second bowl a drop of saliva dribbling down his lips, " I should eat the one reserved for you? " Lucian asked but got no response.
He picked up the bowl and began slurping on its contents too, after some minutes he was done.
Hikaru stood and walked into the sunlight away from the shade, with his eyes closed he began stretching his body, to be a legendary fighter one must be very flexible.
If not naturally gifted at flexibility one would have to train himself to build his or her body in that way as this was one of the fundamentals of the fighting art.
Lucian was still in awe at his master's strange behavior, normally he was a cheerful type and always teaching him new things in fighting but today was the complete opposite.
" Lesson for today boy " he said amidst his stretching, Lucian could loudly hear the old blocks bones crack, something was going to happen and it would be serious.
" Kill me boy ", he said in a very loud and still voice, Lucian was dumbstruck, surprises were just after him this week, he knew his master was dead serious about what he said but he didn't know why.
Hikaru stopped facing Lucian and said, " Or I will kill you " he said completely disappearing form sight, this was a joke, it was all a joke, " You know I don't like pra… " Lucian was cut off from his words as he was sent straight to the tree.
He slid to the ground leaving a trail of blood on the trees obsidian coloured bark, Lucian raised his left arm finding it completely snapped only hanging by the covering of flesh and muscles.
* Ahhh *
He moaned, he had raised his arm to defend the attack but nearly got dismembered by a single kick, Hikaru was serious but that wasn't even half of his full strength.
' How foolish of I to trust my enslavers ' he said to himself as he got up, Hikaru was standing in the sunlight just shy of a few meters away from him.
His eyes were purely white signifying a deadly killing intent on a mere twelve year old, Lucian rushed at him empowered by something other than darkness.
When stepping into the light the empowerment changed and this time he was faster, typically on a whole new level of fast.
Hikaru responded charging back at Lucian and the fight began.
A fight between a hundred plus year old master and a twelve year old student.
A fight between a Lord who spent a century learning and mastering the arts of combat and A godlike Prodigy who spent six years mastering everything to it's peak.
What were they learning and mastering, an act which transforms the frail, weak human body into a weapon of ultimate destruction.
The master and student were now utilizing that transformation to it's fullest, punches flew in a direct order from different angles, all marred with precision and deadliness.
If a normal human were to watch this battle Lucian and Hikaru had no arms and were facing each other in a deadly glare, their arms were reduced to mere blurs in the eyes of the ordinary.
But no matter how skilled, Lucian was still young and immature giving Hikaru the thought of his future potentials.
Strength was won by Hikaru as his hits were heavily pushing Lucian back ripping his clothes and leaving bruises on Lucian's tough skin.
Meanwhile speed was won by Lucian as he landed the most hits but it wasn't enough and he eventually had to take a big leap backwards.
" I Trusted You " he screamed from a distance, Hikaru charged at him again but he remained still, " I thought you weren't like them " he said this time in a lower voice.
A kick to the shin hit him brushing his feet of the ground and another kick hit him on the face launching him away, ' Why ' was Lucian's only thought as he tumbled across the ground eventually hitting the fence.
Blood spilled from his lips, his skull bashed and disfigured only to just snap back into place like nothing happened, he coughed wheezing on his own blood, ' Why '.
He raised his face and it got bashed on the fence causing some rumbling and cracks on the formally impenetrable wall, after that came a series of more bashing.
Blood splashed everywhere painting the black wall and green grasses, Hikaru caught the disfigured boy and flung him to the adjacent side of the compound.
At this point Lucian could only feel pain and the metallic taste of blood in his mouth, he's eyesight blurry as he watched Hikaru slowly walk up to him.
His body was slowly reconstructing himself helping him to stand all battered and misformed.
" I hoped on you, learn from you, LOOKED UP TO YOU AS A FATHER, yet I couldn't figure out I was a misguided fool " he said holding his reconstructing body strong.
Hikaru closed in and grabbed him by the neck raising his body of the ground, " It's the only way " Hikaru said looking straight into Lucian's lifeless gaze.
" It's the only way son " he said slowly lowering Lucian's body, he dropped to his knees his head bent to the ground, Lucian gazed at him weakly.
" It'…s it's the only way th…ey will save h… h…er " he said, just what was happening, a little light shown in Lucian's lifeless stare.
Abruptly standing up Hikaru gripped Lucian on his shoulder, his face pale and weak, his eyes weary, tired and already losing hope.
" Find her Lucy, Find her and help her, ple… " Hikaru said falling to the ground before finishing his sentence.
Riddled with several holes a blood puddle soon formed around Hikaru's limp body.
