In The Infirmary
Inside the infirmary of the academy, a single figure was present. He was wearing a blue shirt with a white coat on top. He had dark circles under his brown eyes, he was visibly tired,
Whoosh!
Abruptly, the door of the infirmary opened and the staff came in with a boy injured and unconscious
"Let me guess, freshman coming out of professor Aria's class"
The man asked the staff with an annoyed voice as they entered the infirmary with Lucas.
"You know how it is sir. Lots of freshman comes out heavily wounded from professor Aria's class"
When Lucas became unconscious from the injury he got from his duel he was sent to the infirmary.
The doctor in the infirmary was Cassidy banks, he was the main doctor for the academy infirmary.
He didn't like professor Aria much due to the amount of students that were sent to him that sustained injury in her class.
Some were less injured and some were critically injured.
Due to her, he has to do a lot of overtime in the infirmary.
Which leads to low sleep and very few vacations..
Cassidy growled as he got up from his chair,
"Put him one of the beds, I will be with him shortly"
He went to the bed where Lucas was placed in,
"Let's see, what's the damage this time…"
Cassidy moved around Lucas's body as he checked out the wounds,
"A big cut on his ribs and a hole in the stomach"
"Seen worse, let's get you fixed"
Cassidy put one of his hand on top of Lucas,
"Mend Flesh"
A yellow light erupted from Cassidy's fingertips
surging toward Lucas's entire body.
Slowly Lucas's wounds started to close.

As Cassidy was healing Lucas another figure entered the infirmary,
He was wearing the typical outfit a black form fitting combat bodysuit, with a black high collared long tailed coat.
He was tall, he had black hair and bangs dangling all the way down to his eyes. His most different parts were his eyes. His right eye is yellow and his left eye purple.
He had heterochromia,
.
.
That figure approached Cassidy while he was healing Lucas,
"Who are you…"
"And what's your business here."
Cassidy asked in a curious tone without looking away from Lucas,
"Hello sir. My name is Ryker Case."
"I am very pleased to meet you. I just came here to meet my friend here…"
Cassidy's eyes lit up as he heard Ryker's name,
He looked up from Lucas and looked at Ryker,
"So you are Ryker Case. I heard about you.."
Ryker hearing Cassidy's answer, his eyes blinked,
"You know about me sir?"
Cassidy's eyes closed as he takes his back in front of Lucas,
"Of course Ryker. You are very well known. I think you might have no clue how well known you are."
Cassidy showed a genuine smile as he continued,
"You are very well known for your healing power. You are one of the top students that the professors keeping their eyes on"
Hearing Cassidy's words Ryker smiled,
"Thank you for the compliment sir."
"Why don't you leave this to me while you take a rest sir."
Ryker suggested to Cassidy at which Cassidy's eyes lit up…
"Are you sure? You can handle this."
"Of course. You already did most of the work and this will help me with my healing powers" Ryker answered Cassidy as the corner of his lips went up.
"Okay then, be my guest."
Cassidy didn't wasted any more time and left,
Leaving only Ryker and Lucas in the room.
.
.
.
'That was easy. Being famous surely has benefits." Ryker whispered in an annoyed tone.
"Let's get you fixed my dear main character"
"Sacrificial Restoration"
A yellow light blinded the room as it erupted from Ryker's body, at this point he was looking like a saint or a god that descended from heaven.
The light entered Lucas's body and his breathing finally become stable,
Lucas was looking like a child that was having a peaceful dream.
"With this the very first problem Lucas had solved."
"Lets what you will do next Lucas Lockhart…..
Or should I say Noah…."
.
.
.
Ryker left the infirmary after healing Lucas.
As he was walking through the academy grounds,

"I will check it when I reached my dorm"
Ryker didn't think about the skills nor the window that popped in front of him. As he had a big smile on his face as he walked towards his dorm room…

Every year thousands of prominent espers join different academies around the human continent and from them a group of espers rise to the top.
They are known as "The New Star"
They joined different academies in the last hundred years, there was never more than a single or at most two 'New Stars' in a single academy.
That changed in 2099.
For the first time in history, five new stars joined the Nexus Academy.
While some academies raised their voices due to it being unfair to them, with the presence of Chancellor Vael...
They had no choice but to take back their voices….
Among the five stars was a Sanctorum, known as Ryker Case…
Or he will be mostly known as,
'The Saint of Miracles'
In the future.

Noah who transmigrated into the body of Lucas Lockhart, a despicable human that will die due to his crimes…
He read the stories, he knows how everything will turn out.
Due to his love towards the character that he read in pages and his hero complexity, he will go through a dangerous broken path.
Where he will be met with disappointment, victory, betrayal and love…
He knew how this world and the story will end so he thinks it's his job to fix it…
Such, hypothetical minded person he was…
Willing to sacrifice himself, so a bunch of unknown people would live a happy life.
.
.
"What a shit mindset…"
Lucas who himself transmigrated into a story never would have thought there was another person.
Another being that read the story…
Not the one he read, the one where he was the main protagonist. The one where it was written about his journey.
The one where everything played out from his point of view…
The one where people read and cheered for him.
.
.
The one that Ryker Case read as an editor…
