It was still snowing outside.
Maureen leaned her umbrella against the wall and pushed open the door to the VIP hospital room.
Liam, semi-reclined on the hospital bed, was eagerly waiting for her arrival with an intense look in his eyes.
But as she entered the room, he quickly reddened and stiffened up, swiftly diverting his gaze away.
Maureen took off her coat and hung it by the door.
As she moved closer, Liam turned more and more embarrassed to the point of desperation.
In the end, he yanked up his blanket over his head and buried it in humiliation, "Don't come any closer, Maureen, you got the wrong room!" Maureen: "..." "Mr. Liam, I'll leave for now." Mr. Boris glanced at both of them, guessing some of the circumstances.
He lightly chuckled and gave a nod toward Maureen, "You two chat, call me if you need anything."
Maureen replied, "Okay."
After Mr. Boris left, the hospital room turned even quieter.
