Then he activated Haste and dashed forward, opening with a combo that left the boss dazed before following up with a hit that applied four stacks of Poison. Afterward, he retreated gracefully. Although the corridor made kiting difficult, Ethan could still run from one end to the other and back again. If he could kite, there was no reason to face the boss head-on—especially since if the Tigerhead Chieftain activated Berserk, its normal attacks alone would hit for over 900 HP per strike. Add in skills, and Ethan wouldn't last long under direct pressure.
With four stacks of Poison, the boss would lose nearly 130,000 HP per minute. The Tigerhead Chieftain, with only 450,000 HP, couldn't hold out for more than four minutes and soon dropped dead, rewarding Ethan with 32,000 EXP and Silverfang with 8,000 EXP. Silverfang, already close to leveling up, instantly reached Level 17.
