Silver Fang's sudden move completely caught Ethan off guard. All this time, Silver Fang had always done whatever it was told—completely obedient. Ethan had never seen, or even heard of, a situation like this.
"Could it have developed self-awareness after leveling up?" Ethan muttered to himself. That seemed like the only explanation. He quickly turned to look at Silver Fang. After swallowing the Bloodline Potion, Silver Fang appeared to have entered some kind of special state, standing there with rings of light particles swirling around its body.
"What's this?? Did it actually succeed?" Ethan's face lit up with surprise, but at the moment, there was nothing he could do except quietly wait on the side.
Very soon, Silver Fang was surrounded by countless light particles. Ethan could no longer see what was happening inside, but he could hear a series of choked howls coming from within—as if it were enduring some kind of unbearable pain.
