After clearing this section, Ethan realized there was no path forward. He returned to the center and then headed right. Soon, he entered another mining zone, and this time, a large number of Skeleton Assassins were scattered across the entire area. He cast Insight—Level 25 Skeleton Assassin, Attack as high as 720, Health 65,000, Defense 560, and its skill was the assassin-exclusive Backstab. However, the Skeleton Assassin's Backstab was clearly stronger than Ethan's: it ignored 55% of Defense, dealt 160% damage, and had a 25-second cooldown.
"An upgraded version?" Ethan muttered in confusion. The name was exactly the same, the skill was the same too, but all its stats had been boosted.
"Can skills be upgraded? But I haven't seen any upgrade button..." Ethan wondered aloud. Oh well, I'll find out eventually.
