Ethan stared at the coffin placed at the center. If he really wanted to get out, the only breakthrough seemed to be that coffin. But for some reason, just looking at it gave him the chills, as if something truly terrifying was sealed within.
"Forget it, better check out those four standing guard around the coffin first," Ethan muttered to himself. There were still four statues beside the coffin, different from the Tomb Guardians—taller, more imposing, and wielding longer spears.
"If it's fate, you can't escape it. If it's doom, it won't miss." Ethan tried to hype himself up. He had no other options at this point. Carefully, he approached the statues. The moment he was within one meter of them, just like before, the stone layer on the four statues began to rapidly peel away. Ethan quickly stepped back.
A few seconds later, the four statues revived. Ethan immediately cast Insight.
