Ethan had no idea what was going on in the outside world at the moment. He was staring at the ground with a sickly green face. Next to the Nightlord's corpse, there was only a single orb. Not even a token or anything else.
"This is freaking ridiculous. You were a boss who tormented me for hours and this is all you drop?" Ethan muttered in disbelief.
At that moment, the entire grand hall began to shake violently, as if it was on the verge of collapse.
There was no time left to complain. Ethan hurriedly scooped up the two items dropped by the Nightlord, then used Blink to leap to the mechanism and quickly activate it. As the stone door slowly began to open, Ethan pushed his speed to the limit and dashed out.
Not long after Ethan made it outside, the entire grand hall crumbled. Within moments, it had become a heap of ruins.
