"What!? You can't be serious." Dr. David muttered. "You're going to go along with Dimitri's offer? You know it's not logical."
"This is not your concern. Things are getting out of control in this country and the government needs to maintain balance." The Master said as he got up from his seat to pour himself a glass of whiskey.
Dr. David tried to seek reason with him. He believed that Project Hydra was a game changer not to be played with. "That's what the Exterminators are for. They exist because of missions such as this."
"They are not good enough. These assets that we'll dispatch will be much more effective than them. After all, they're just outlaws of society. Even if they fail, we'll deny knowledge of their existence and nothing will be traced back to us." The Master said smiling.
"We're not going to use that serum on them."
"Of course not. They'll be dispatched just as they are." The Master said in agreement. "No need to boost them to superhuman level, and besides,s, we can't take that risk. Having Queen is good enough for us, we don't need any more people like her. Once her usefulness is over, she will be neutralized and a replacement will be found in her stead."
"But sir..."
"Mr. Scientist. Your opinion isn't needed. This is happening whether you like it or not. See to it that the assets are medically cleared and fit for duty. We have a country to put into balance." The Master said getting up from his seat. "And don't even think about why I didn't use Queen. She is our failsafe, our kill switch, and our ultimate weapon. Her skills are required for only special assignments. Just in case we have any emergency, she's the one to take care of it. Any questions?"
"No sir."
"Good. I'll be leaving now." The Master said before exiting the room.

Dimitri's House.
Confined in his magnificent house, Mr. Dimitri groans painfully as he walks steadily with the help of his clutches. His wife, Alice, followed him slowly, trying to support him as they both made their way to the living room.
"Take it easy Love. Easy now." Alice said encouraging her husband, who continued whining in pain. "Come on, man up. Fight the pain. Stop acting like a chicken.
Dimitri was now fed up with the way his wife talked to him as he lashed out at her. "Will you shut that hole you call a mouth up!"
"Sorry darling. Didn't mean to offend you." Alice said bowing her head down as she apologized.
"After lashing out at his wife, Dimitri proceeds to the living room on his own to meet his guest. Upon arriving there, Dimitri slips and falls hard on the ground but his guest soon comes to his aid.
"Damn that stupid nanny. I warned her not to wax this floor too much. She's making the tiles so slippery." Dimitri lamented as he was assisted from the ground.
"At least the ground is spotless. You should double her wages. How's your wound?" Samuel, his guest said, trying to make a joke.
"It's been patched up but the pain hurts so much. I can feel it in my spine." Dimitri said as he took a seat. "Sorry for these mishaps, would you like anything to drink?"
"No, I'm fine. Let's have a seat, there's a lot of us to discuss." Samuel began. He was a minister of Social Services and a dear friend to Dimitri. Both men had known each other for quite a long time, and both were members of the Conglomerate organization, but unlike the other members, these two men had their own personal goals to accomplish.
"So what brings you to my house?" Dimitri asked.
"I heard that The Master has launched your Project Hydra."
Dimitri's joy knew no boundaries. "Finally! Yes! Good."
"But I also heard that Mr. Frazier is going to be eliminated. Why would you do this to him? He only betrayed the organization because you told him who was behind Captain Fati's death." Samuel said after seeing the joyous look on Dimitri's face.
"Don't bother about Frazier. He's collateral damage. But the real reason why I did this was because of one thing and that's to lure that sick botch into the open and kill her." Dimitri said, laying his plan bare before his friend.
"Kill who?" Samuel asked.
"Queen," Dimitri said with confidence in calling her name. "That bitch burns me! She swore to shoot me this afternoon. Samuel, she's a wild cannon that needs to be destroyed. She's too erratic."
"If the Master finds out about this, it will not end well for you," Samuel said, advising his friend. "Even so, how are you going to kill the Master's pet? She's too formidable and bloodthirsty. I doubt even the York army can take her down. She's a living weapon with no weakness at all."
Dimitri interrupted his friend. "You're wrong. She has a weakness. Her therapist. I don't know what her relationship is with that young man but whenever he's around, she tends to be more calm."
"Oh, come on, It's obvious that she's in love with him," Samuel said, reading between the lines.
"Don't make me laugh. That cold-hearted killer doesn't have the heart to fall in love. I'm going to let Frazier know what's coming for him, it will allow him to get prepared for her. I hope he kills the crazy bitch." He said as he picked up his cell phone to place the call.
"You're gambling with the devil here my friend. For your sake, I hope your plans work."
"Don't worry. It will. It has to." Dimitri concluded.
