"It's... massive," Veer murmured as they landed at the craft's entrance.
"It's hard to grasp the scale from afar, especially with so few buildings nearby," Theo added. "Come on, don't mind the mess. Just take your family inside."
The ground was still littered with the remains of the zombies Theo had hunted on the first night. Through his helmet, he could filter out the stench, but Veer, unprotected, must have been overwhelmed by the foul odor.
Zombies still roamed nearby, drawn by their arrival. Theo moved swiftly, dispatching them before the bodies could pile up further, deepening the grim scenery.
"Do you need help?" Veer asked.
"No, it's alright. I've grown accustomed to fighting them," Theo replied before turning to Veer. "Ariella will guide you inside."
Veer carried his family toward the entrance, which opened automatically as he approached. The craft towered above them, nearly as tall as a four-story building. Yet, something about it felt... incomplete.
