Chapter 57 - Reviewing The One Sided Duel's Outcome

The outcome of the one-sided duel between Don Golzulin and Pendoswing persuaded The Ace Duelist to conduct more exploding activities inside his lab. More specifically, he siphoned his magenta particles into the cylinder containment that revealed a name, "Convenient Executioner Backpack."

Each time the particles intruded the containment and surged a mixture of aquamarine and raven-colored beams of light passed through its surface. The Ace Duelist shoved his hand further, emitting more light beams within the containment as he bestrewed more magenta particles.

The roaring sound of electrocution trumpeted from the containment with Viscable wrapping his wrist and inhaling the chilling breath inside the room. Hence, the containment shone the dancing flashes onto The Ace Duelist's eyes, convincing him to pull back his hand and flicker out the charging particles.

As Viscable fluttered his hand, the flashes shrunk until no remains visible within his watchful eyes. The Ace Duelist directly watched the containment presenting the sentence stated, "Convenient Executioner Backpack is ready to be used, provoking him to step closer at the finest finish of his new backpack.

Instead of grasping a delightful atmosphere toward the newest backpack, The Ace Duelist scornfully gripped his knuckles. His mind recalled a memory of him motionlessly watching Pendoswing shove his empowered finger soaring a spacious wave all over his pocket dimension. The memory might faded away, but he remained consumed by the resentment, grunting in frustation.

"Not only did he steal my chance on defeating The Dreadful Nightmare, but he also showed me my current progress is nothing compared to his power," The Ace Duelist muttered, fueling his head in enraged

Viscable furrowed at the containment and muttered, "Although The Convenient Executioner is already completed, it's still far from his current state. Not….even enough to withstand him too"

"I'm afraid, The Annoying Cosmic Being persistently advances the mastery of his limitless cosmic power," The Ace Duelist spoke, clenching his stammering fist and dampening sweats on his neck.

Viscable heaved his clenched knuckle and groaned, "And sadly, The Machine being developed in Langorold is not finished yet."

"After this, I should go deeper into finding another method to at least destabilize his cosmic power or find another way to increase my power," The Ace Duelist uttered, resting his knuckles and clearing his throat. "Perhaps hunting Langorold most dangerous dragon."

Viscable grinned proudly, "I must admit he is the hardest adversary I ever faced."

"At the same time, I defeat him at his full potential, it will become solid proof I can face Gods, Cosmic Beings, High-level Skywordians, and other powerful entities who stand in my path!!" The Ace Duelist said eagerly, discharging the large flow of magenta particles as he loudened his enthusiastic laughter.

Suddenly, The Ace Duelist ended his laughter when his sharp hearing echoed the noise of the door sliding. Viscable barely perceived his sight to the back, capturing the sighting of the recent visitor, who was none other than his father, who stepped in his direction by moving his staff forward.

"I thought you already fell asleep, Father," The Ace Duelist guessed, sneaking his resilient sight to the left.

Cantos chuckled in ridicule, "How could I have a good sleep if you keep conducting your experiment?"

"If you look on your left, I prepared a special hot drink just in case you visited me," Viscable suggested.

"As always, you are quite an anticipative person," The Old Man commented.

Cantos turned his interested sight to the left and gladly smiled after noticing a white cup of coffee on the top of the floating holographic tray. The Old Man grabbed the cup before he slid his staff to move forward, painting a thankful expression toward Viscable who coldly shrugged it off.

"You still remembered it despite we hadn't seen each other for 10 years. I'm amazed at you, Gdark" The Old Man praised, unfurling his impressed grin and taking a tiny sip of the steaming coffee.

The Old Man pulled his lip away from the coffee and questioned his son with a concerned expression, "How's your encounter with Don Golzulin?"

A grim silence appeared on the scene as The Ace Duelist hushedly groaned in discontentment, channeling the magenta particles that gushed onto his father. Cantos swallowed a large gulp of his saliva, fixating his worried gaze on the front especially with Viscable turning around.

"Not a satisfying experience," The Ace Duelist bickered, surging more flow of magenta particles concealing his entire armor.

"Did he hurt you or give you his traumatizing curse, Gdark?" Cantos shakily mumbled a question.

The Ace Duelist shook his head and yelled "I wished I was the one who crushed The Dreadful Nightmare!"

"Unfortunately, my golden opportunity was taken by The Annoying Cosmic Being who called himself, Pendoswing!" The Ace Duelist bickered, dispersing the particles with him waving his hand to the left. "The same entity that Triumph Makers faced, treated Nightmare of Anthonian like a toy."

Cantos gasped in utter disbelief and questioned his son, "Wh-what…what do you mean, Gdark?"

"To put it simply, The Annoying Cosmic only tested his weakest power to the Nightmare of Anthonian throughout the fight until he got halfly serious and defeated him in a single blow," The Ace Duelist answered, wincing.

"Did Pendoswing survive Darkened Drill of Nullification too?" Cantos blurted out a petrified question at his son.

The Ace Duelist nodded hesitantly and panted the chilling air before speaking, "I'm afraid yes, Father."

Trepidation seethed Cantos's thought as he accidentally dropped his staff and his cup of coffee, alerting The Ace Duelist to dash closer. Luckily, Viscable held his father on the back, preventing him from falling. The Old Man lifted his hefty neck and switched his appalled glare at his son.

"I never thought Pendoswing's vigorous power could make The Frigtful Don Golzulin into a complete joke!!" Cantos sobbed. "Back in my day, it took me and the rest of Triumph Makers members to put him down for good."

Viscable sighed and patted his father on the chest, "Honestly, my current state can crush The Anthonia's Nightmare too."

"However, I still have struggle unlike…The Annoying Cosmic Being who can defeat him with his weakest attack" The Ace Duelist admitted irritatedly. "As I said before, it made Anthonian Nightmare's power into a joke compared to Pendoswing overwhelming cosmic power."

"Even worse, Pendoswing has massively gotten stronger than the last time Triumph Makers encountered," Viscable stated.

At first, Cantos held his breath and bowed his head sorrowfully as he was drowned into a dreaded realization of the new dire threat. The flood of sweat dampened on The Old Man's forehead the longer pinned his horrified glance below, convincing Viscable to poke his father on the spine.

Eventually, The Old Man panted, shaking his head as dragged himself away from the misery's thought. Viscable also picked up the falling staff and offered it to his father. Cantos accepted the offer by pulling the staff from The Ace Duelist's hand, heavily raising his stare to the ceiling above.

"It seems the most dangerous threat on Earth has changed again, Gdark" Cantos proclaimed, coughing and gritting his wary jaw. "Sometimes, I wished I never had my power being sealed away by Don Golzulin."

"Because I prefer to join the rough battle alongside the new Triumph Makers rather than stay at home as a weak old man!!" Cantos bickered in deep frustration, feeling his heartbeat go faster as he unsteadily rubbed his chest.

Viscable shook his head and grunted, "I suggest to rest now, Father, or should I say the Former Mighty Hero of Gloricon."

"Too much thinking about this only brings more suffering to your weak health," The Ace Duelist spoke harshly.

The Ace Duelist pointed his brazen finger to the chest and avowed "Hear me this former hero, I, Gdark, will be the one who is going defeat The Annoying Cosmic being!"

Inside a white room with its wall attached by several holographic projections of female supermodel photos, a dark-skinned and short curly-haired woman pinned her gaze at the levitating holographic screen in the middle. The woman wore a neon-green blazer, a pink t-shirt, and long black jeans.

The holographic screen showcased a magazine cover with a close-up picture of Prila in the white background wearing a red velvet bikini and revealing her seductive expression in the center, Strawberry-pink letters stating, "Pleasurian" popped up in the above center of the picture alongside couple of subtitles about the newest hot model and celebrity on the side part of the picture. The woman slid her hand to the left, transforming the border color of the magazine cover into a rosy pink.

"So, so, what do you think about the cover of Pleasura's newest edition I just made, Superstar Prila?" The woman asked keenly, pinning her eyes to the back and catching the presence of Prila, who now wore a long white sweater and short black pants and was walking close to the holographic screen.

The Hair Magician leaned her inspecting to the magazine's cover, rotating her neck from left to right. After smoothly finishing the cover's inspection, a contented smile shone on Prila's face. Then, The Hair Magician turned her pleased stare toward The Woman who began to sigh in relaxation.

"I think this cover already looks good and appealing for the readers, Calana," Prila praised, beaming her lip in satisfaction.

Calana wiped out the sweat on her forehead and mumbled, "Wow, I'm truly thankful to hear that."

"Thank god you didn't ask for another revision again" Calana said, drawing her hand upward and resting her tired back on the bumpy surface of the white holographic chair she had been sitting on.

"Well the picture is already good enough" The Hair Magician replied gladly.

"Besides, you are also a skillful editor and cover artist, of course, you can turn a bad picture into a good one," The Hair Magician said, stroking the left side of her hair.

Calana cleared her throat and asked politely, "I heard you will get around 2.5 million for the payment from my Manager. Mr.Hedwick, are you going to send it to your parent."

"Absolutely, yes," Prila replied, clutching her left hand as she sensed a little spark of uneasiness.

"Wow, I'm impressed since you rarely met your parent, but are still willing to give most of your paycheck to them," Calana praised, dropping her splendid jaw toward The Hair Magician.

Prila giggled blissfully, "Oh come on."

"I only did it because that's the only thing I can do to support them especially with all of them already retired," Prila clarified.

"Remember, you are the only person who knew a little bit of my personal life," The Hair Magician affirmed.

Calana repeatedly pinched her chin and pushed her restful back from leaning further on the chair, lifting her sight at The Hair Magician and humming. A doubtful look clouded Prila's face as she pointed her gaze downward, glistening the pinkish gleams through her hair temporarily

"Is your parent still not accepting, your Superhero's identity?" Calana let out a question at The Hair Magician.

Prila panted tiredly and said, "Probably, they already never accepted my alter ego after several arguments."

"However, I still think separating myself from them is a better way to keep their safety," The Hair Magician mentioned reluctantly.

"I indeed become a model not only showing my beauty but also making a living for my parent too," Prila asserted.

"Is it because there are a lot of Supervillains who wanted you dead since you are the most powerful Triumph Makers, right?" Calana guessed, gasping in worriedness.

"Indeed, Calana," The Hair Magician confirmed.

"Are you going to visit or meet your parent again someday, Prila?" Calana released a new question and shared her argument. "I assumed they also wanted to see their beloved daughter come home too."

"Most likely I'll pay a visit to them after The Uprising Venom and The Dangerous Pendoswing's problem are over," The Hair Magician uttered, planting a stoic look on her face.
