Chapter 102 - Refreshing Aftermath of Talosnis's Raid

Few hours have passed, every trace of the area belonging to the Omnugorg fighting area in Talosnis City has finally faded from the naked eye. More specifically, the city was returned to its usual state, especially with the citizens began to roam around, feeling a sense of dumbfounded or anxiety.

Footage of the unconscious Omnugorg being confined inside a concealing cylinder tank was presented inside several hordes of holographic news billboards. A red border news headline on the below presented a statement that declared, "The Terror of The Non-Human Slayer, Omnugorg has been secured by The Triumph Makers."

Hooded citizens who centered their curious sight on the news, rubbed their chins and traded their bewildered stares with each other. Some hooded citizens who were below the news billboard also widened their eyebrows at the ongoing news, wincing in a little bit of hesitation.

"The only thing I remembered was Omnugorg use his spell to make us sleep," The Young Man said, rolling his eyes.

"I don't remember The Triumph Makers saving the citizens or defeating him," The Young Man added.

He cringed. "Like come on, I don't even know what's exactly happening."

His friend prodded him on the back of his neck and scolded, "Dumbass, you should have been gladful, not complaining."

"Heck, if the Triumph Makers weren't there, we would already become a new victim for Omnugorg or worse turn into his hidious monster," His friend stated, raising her voice and crossing her arms in bitterness.

"Besides we live with magic and alien existence, of course, this sort of thing will happen," She remarked.

"Get used to it," She bickered irritatedly.

Meanwhile, on the hill afar from the city, Daigrun VII maintained a heedful stand, scanning the empty surroundings that were currently empty. Behind him, The Laser Master was still trapped in the unconscious state, exhaling a sore breath, with the black torch on his wounded back growing larger.

Daigrun VII sighed, "No need to worry, Layfree."

"The one who is going to remove your curse will arrive," The Alien Leader assured, centering his concerned face at VWX.

The waiting period was over as a glimmering pinkish portal emerged on the scene, convincing Daigrun VII to sigh in relief. The Alien Leader persistently watched the portal, pulling out the silhouette of the glimmering pinkish woman with the long twintail hairs levitating.

More specifically, the Illustrious Hair Magician, Prila, swiftly returned on the scene, especially when she landed her floating feet on the ground. She gave a humble bow toward The Alien Leader, who took one step forward, clearing all the heavy breath from lingering in his throat.

"Great to see you again, Prila," The Alien Leader greeted his fellow teammate warmly, sneaking his reluctant glare to the injured VWX.

"You too, my leader, Daigrun," Prila replied eagerly, beaming her lip in gladness toward her team leader.

"How's the break?" The Alien Leader asked.

"It was very great and relieving, free from the pressure of Superhero and model life. It felt like I had become like Candila again," Prila answered cheerfully.

"Even better, my relationship has gotten better so far," The Hair Magician added.

"Good to hear that, Prila," The Alien Leader said calmly, before crossing his arms.

Daigrun VII sighed, "I'm sorry for interrupting your break period, but it's an urgent matter, especially for Layfree's sake."

"It's alright, Daigrun. Also, I once told Caldister that I'm going to be ready whenever you or the other needed me," The Hair Magician assured, steering her sight to the back and stroking her hair.

"Including this urgent matter," Prila clarified, kneeling and darting her look of pity toward The Laser Master

The Alien Leader nodded and whistled, "Caldister indeed mentioned that to me regarding this."

"Also, can Layfree still be saved from this curse?" Daigrun VII asked worriedly, pinching his chin.

The Hair Magician giggled and grinned, "It's very rare to see you showing concern, Daigrun."

"I thought you were the calmest one," Prila teased, leading The Alien Leader to shake his head in bother.

"There was some situation I showed concern," Daigrun VII countered.

"Don't worry, I will take a look at him," The Hair Magician remarked collectedly, pinning her watchful eyes toward The Laser Master.

"Hopefully, the curse can still be cured," Prila mumbled, tilting her head to the left and rubbing her hands.

Regardless, The Hair Magician swiftly lengthened her sprawling hair to envelop VWX's entire limbs. Prila commanded her hair to tangle the Laser Master's body and flipped him, glanced at the steaming, burnt wound on his back that ignited more black flames. She heedfully lowered her knees, gaining a closer look at the sable torch.

Pinkish gleam shimmered through The Hair Magician's eyes the further she observed the active flame, broadening her grin. The tangling hair emanated the glistening sparkles as Prila mashed her hands. Then, The Hair Magician pulled back her hand and generated a windish pink orb levitating in the middle.

She propelled her palm downward, letting the orb phase through The Laser Master's scorched back. As the ghastly orb funneled the radiant-pinkish spark within VWX, Prila hurriedly stood up and surged with a pinkish ray, lifting her arms and tightening the pressure of her wrapping hair.

VWX, who was in an unconscious state, suddenly awakened, roaring an agonizing scream as the pinkish gleam went brighter. He even constantly trembled his body like a fish out of water. The Hair Magician heaved her finger forward, ordering the tangling hair to siphon the horde of pinkish sparks.

Prila drew her hand beneath her chin, "Don't worry, Layfree, you are going to be free from this torment."

The Hair Magician imminently swayed her head to the right, triggering her hair to discharge the pinkish vines and transfuse into VWX's inside as he prolonged his scream. Hence, a pinkish beam of light transpired from The Laser Master's back, morphing into a bubble projection that trapped the sable scorch.

Finally, VWX ended his scream as he no longer had any scorching burn on his back, constantly gasping for air. Daigrun VII raised his head curiously toward the speck of black scorch inside the pinkish bubble, luring The Hair Magician to grasp it and wander at the contained object.

"Is…Layfree already freed from the curse, Prila?" The Alien Leader asked, pointing his fingers at the scorching object.

Prila blinked out traces of light in her eyes and replied, "Indeed."

"Omnugorg's curse has been removed completely from his body," The Hair Magician clarified.

"No longer did he feel any painful side effect or unrelenting torment, Daigrun," The Hair Magician added.

Prila clasped the bubbly object tightly, the longer she spent inspecting the black scorches, tilting her neck to the right. Nonetheless, the scorch and the containing bubble diminished into thin air when The Hair Magician squeezed them altogether, reducing their traces into nothingness.

"Thank you very much for your help, Prila," Daigrun VII shared his gratitude toward his teammate, floating closer to The Laser Master.

The Hair Magician humbly bowed her neck, "Glad to hear that."

After the curse was no longer haunting The Laser Master's veins, he slowly got up, heavy body, and scratched his back. VWX quickly revolved his glance to the left and watched The Alien Leader proposed his open hand to him. He gladly accepted the offer, allowing Daigrun VII to aid him in regaining a steady standing position.

"Ah…Daigrun, what exactly happened after I went unconscious?" The Laser Master asked in a little bit of agitation, heaving his surprised eyebrows further when he spotted Prila smiling and waving her hand.

"And are you…in the break period, Prila?" VWX added.

"Well…I got call by him to heal your curse and obviously, I came here to save your ass," Prila teased.

"Is your parent even permit you?" The Laser Master replied.

"I told them it's an urgent matter and they luckily alllowed it," Prila remarked, stroking the right side of her lengthened hair.

"Good to hear that," VWX uttered, steering his sight toward The Alien Leader and proposing a new question. "So Daigrun VII, what's exactly happen before she arrive."

The Alien Leader patted him on the shoulder and asserted, "There are a lot of things you need to catch up."

A few minutes had passed, VWX blew an astonished whistle, rubbing the back of his head before wrapping his left arm shortly, collecting all the prior knowledge when he went unconscious. Moreover, The Laser Master tapped his visor especially when he gawked at his fellow teammates, Daigrun VII and Prila.

"I see, even though we captured The Non-Human Slayer, we still haven't found any sign of Pendoswing or his succubus twin?" The Laser Master guessed.

Daigrun VII shook his head, "Sadly no."

"Maybe they didn't want to watch the fight, I guess," The Laser Master stated, shrugging his arms.

"That's almost impossible for a thrilling seeker being like him, VWX. Remember when we first encountered the Succubus twin, he silently watched us," The Alien Leader countered, slightly glancing her sight toward Prila and gushing an unnerving breath from his throat.

"So, Prila, you reported that all the criminals being freed is because of The Succubus's enhanced stealth magic, right?" Daigrun VII blurted out a firm question.

The Hair Magician folded her hand, "Correct."

"Judilia used her weird cocoon thing based on the information I dug in from Martatoriot-OX," Prila professed. "However, I'm not sure if he ordered the succubus to use it for watching the match.

"Unless…she drain some of his power to maintain a longer period for the cocoon, giving him a time to observe you safely," The Hair Magician assumed, gritting her teeth in frustration briefly.

The Laser Master clenched one of his trembling knuckles, boiling his head in a steaming vexation. While VWX irritatedly emanated a shrouding spark through the reflection of his glasses, Daigrun VII hummed and rubbed his chin, sharpening his vigilant sight at The Hair Magician.

"It is a highly possible that the criminals didn't even knew they were being watch by him and the succubusses," The Alien Leader assumed. "From what I seen in Omnugorg, he didn't felt being observe by them."

"The only ting I saw was he only fought to keep his pride alone, not because he was being observed by them," Daigrun VII stated assetively.

VWX grunted and raised his voice, "Then, all this time, we're just being watched like a living amusement!"

"Which means our strategies has been before expose by him too!" The Laser Master grumbled.

"Calm down, Layfree, we still can train and create new strategy when we encountered him," Daigrun VII assured placidly.

"Yes, we still have a plenty of time to improve ourself," The Hair Magician tried to encourage her friend. "Despite I still took a break, I'm most likely going to visit Grandma Zigrun two days before my return."

"I needed to get stronger too especially on facing him," Prila affirmed.

VWX blew a huge chunk of sigh and nodded, "Thanks for the reminder, you two."

"Mina Rodax and I sure going to have a rough training after this," The Laser Master avowed, dispersing the spark within his visor's reflection.

"By the way, have you seen, Gdark?" The Hair Magician asked, planting an intrigued furrow. "Usually, he didn't want to miss this kind of chaotic fight."

"Unfortunately, there is no trace of him throughout the fight, sorry," VWX replied reluctantly.

Prila hummed, "Seems strange."

"I bet he already started to forge more bizarre weapons or enhanced his magical power," The Hair Magician speculated.
