Nasya's POV
This was the first time I had ever seen such an expression on Zayn's face. His eyes burned with a ferocity that made my blood run cold—a look so vicious it seemed he wanted to tear me apart with his bare teeth. His grip on my jaw tightened mercilessly, his fingers digging into my skin with enough force that I feared he might actually shatter the bone.
I gritted my teeth against the pain, forcing myself to meet his gaze without flinching. I wouldn't back down. Not now.
"So you're telling me you've had your wolf all along." It wasn't a question. The way his gaze raked over me now was clinical, reassessing every inch of me as if he might find some physical evidence of my deception.
I swallowed hard.
"...Yes."
"Since when?" The words were sharp, accusatory. "From the beginning? You've been pretending this whole time?"
