Chapter 132– The Last Person I Wanted to See
Tyler's POV
I didn't need to raise my head to know who it was.
I already knew that voice.
But still…
I lifted my face slowly—just to be sure.
And just like I feared, it was him.
Logan.
Of all people.
I dropped my head again, this time out of shame.
I couldn't even look at him.
What was I supposed to say?
"Hey, I'm just sitting in the rain like a hopeless fool. Nice to see you"?
Nothing made sense.
Not in my head. Not in my life.
Especially not now that Logan was here.
I just wanted him to go.
Pretend like he didn't see me.
Act like he didn't care—like he always did.
"Leave me alone," I muttered.
My body was shaking so badly, my teeth were literally kissing each other.
I couldn't feel my fingers anymore. My skin felt like ice.
But still, I didn't want his help.
Logan's voice was calm, but I could hear the concern under it.
"This is dangerous, Tyler. You could die out here."
He sounded… serious.
Worried.
