Although the victor of the fight was obvious, James wasn't planning to die so easily, he held his katana ready for whatever his opponent may do, Musaqi simply weaved his sword in the general direction of James causing ripples in the air to attack him, he blocked a few of them but the ones that did hit felt overwhelming strong, even if the actual sword didn't make contact with him the blow of the wind itself was clearly more than enough force to take down the average fighter.
"Not bad James, how about we speed things up a bit." Musaqi decided to show some respect to the young man, he pulled out his second sword, something that is usually rare to see, he began asking the winds to aid him, and with it, he cleaved the air itself, massive gusts of wind were sent in the direction of James he could barely react let alone guard it, his legs trembled as he was nearly lifted off the ground, his face horrified, the sheer amount of strength was clearly unbelievable, James barely making blocking each attack was a miracle not even he could comprehend, he tried staying alive as long as he could until a stray slash of wind cleaved him in half cleanly, blood splattered across the floor with his lower bodies' organs could be seen.
Musaqi put away both of his swords in a swift and gentle manner, he bowed towards his opponent and continued his slaughter, no one was supposed to be left alive regardless, he tried his best to kill all of them quickly and without pain or knowledge of that they were even dead to begin with.
After about ten minutes he he had left the facility with not a stain of blood on him, a piece of James's clothing could be seen attached to Musaqi's attire, as it has claimed another victim yet again.
He sighed "Surely one day I'll meet an opponent that will let me go all out, guess I'll have to check up on Theseus now" He looked around gathering information just in case, you never know what could happen in a city like this after all, he eavesdropped on a group of mercenaries, they spoke about raiding a nearby shop at night time whilst another group talked about how they plan on killing a Mère l'Oye a term that Musaqi knew very well.
Meanwhile, in the depths of Theseus's unconscious mind he was struggling, he couldn't comprehend what had just happened, was this going to be the end of him? Was he going to be amputated like this forever? Why didn't Musaqi help him? All these questions could be answered with time but he didn't want that, he wanted an answer now, he saw images of his mangled arm on the floor, wishing it was all just a dream, but it was too real for it to be a dream, eventually even his family appeared in his mind, his father.
"Was it really worth abandoning us Theseus? Making your mother cry? Look at what you did to yourself, you and your stupid dream, that pride of yours will be the death of you one day." His father was more disappointed than angry, Theseus wouldn't even bother speaking back to him he knew he was right, his mind seeped more and more into despair until he was eventually woken up by Musaqi.
"Rise and shine young Theseus, it's about time you woke up." He greeted him as if nothing had happened, upon waking up Theseus began moving sporadically around as his body tried moving his left arm to no avail, Musaqi seemed disappointed yet again "Really Theseus? This again?" Theseus angrily replied "What do you mean this again!? My fucking arm got cut off! What do you expect!?" Musaqi sighed, "It's not like it's the end of the world, I wonder if I should have brought you along to begin with." Theseus stabilised himself and with a stern look on his face he answered "If I knew that this of all things were to happen, I wouldn't have join you to begin with, you said I had nothing to worry about, you told me I'd be safe, now look at me!" He waves and points towards where his arm used to be. Musaqi had a tired look on his face, as if he was fed up with him "If you want to lash out at me like this, fine, so be it, you know I think this would be for the best of both of us." And in an instant, he charges out of the window from where he came, he leaped from building to building and began flying with his Second Wind when necessary until he had officially left the city.
Theseus was confused, there was no way in his mind that he was just deserted in a place he barely knows right? Surely Musaqi would come back, he hoped, the first day was simple enough, he stayed in his room wandering the depths of his mind, maybe something would cheer him up but the opposite happened, despair began to consume him albeit slowly it was still happening, his hope for Musaqi to return diminished as the day went on. On the second day he laid in bed in the entire time, his gaze focused on the roof of wherever he was, he didn't want to leave, he didn't want to do anything, he felt like he was worth nothing and that he was just a disappointment, a child who thought he was special, someone who peaked only in death and did nothing with it, this mindset continued for days on end, he kept losing himself with no one around him to help, all of his friends and family would berate him in his mind, calling him a disappointment, useless, a worthless dreamer that barely accomplished anything, although eventually he got used to having only one arm as that was the only good thing.
On the third day someone had noticed that the light was left on at night, although the city does not have laws there are rules one must follow for survival, and yet Theseus knew none of them, in the middle of the night a few men broke into his room knocking him out quickly, kidnapping him bringing him to wherever they resided, they strapped him on top of a dirty table and talked to one another.
"He may have lost a limb but I'm sure we can eat for at least a week with this one, his muscles seem toned enough." He said whilst he sharpened his knife. "I sure hope so brother." Said the other mam.
It felt like a fever dream, he woke up slowly and tried moving to no avail, he looked around but couldn't spot anything useful, one of them noticed this and was surprised "Wow, you woke up quickly, usually they stay knocked out until they're stabbed, I love seeing the way the life their life goes out whilst I stare into their eyes, it just feels so magical." The room was dark, he couldn't exactly picture what the man had looked like but his voice was deep and raspy.
Was this the end? He kept thinking to himself over and over again, he was on the verge of breaking and giving out completely, he didn't even try to prevent what was going to happen, he almost seemed content about it even, and as the knife slowly pierced his chest all the windows in the room had shattered, the door to wherever they were was busted open, multiple men with knives appeared and began slaughtering everyone who was inside "Gather everything they have! Food, water, all of it! Make sure this warehouse is left spotless! Oh? Wasn't expecting a victim here, haven't seen you around these parts before, who are you?" The man was dressed casually and had dark hair, he wore a hood over his head that concealed his identity slightly though it was obvious he wasn't even an adult yet, though even whilst questioned Theseus did not glace at the man, he merely stared at the ceiling. "My name is Theseus… And no, I'm not from here, I just want to go back home…" He was malnourished and tired, he hadn't slept in a while and was slowly giving out.
"Hmm, someone from the outside huh, last time something like this happened I heard it changed the whole city." He covered his mouth and was deep in thought until he finally said "Alright boys, we're taking this one with us, if he has no use we'll kill him, and if he has knowledge of the outside we'll keep him alive." Another group of men quickly carried Theseus out of the building to wherever they resided, and once they had finished raiding the place they took him to their base, tied him to the wall and made sure to feed him just enough so that he can regain consciousness.
