"Tommy!" Emma said. "No, I don't think that is true." She continued.
"I mean, the way he looks at you, the way he watches what he says before saying it because you are around. It's kind of obvious." Sophie explained.
"I don't think so, Tommy is just a really nice person so I get why it can be misunderstood."
"Well alright then if you say so, you know him better than I do." Sophie said.
Sophie still felt that Tommy was in love with Emma, and she was not surprised that she did not know it because when it comes to this kind of thing, she was always dense.
But she was still wondering why he has not told Emma about it, she assumed it was because of how Emma was, but that should not have stopped him.
"I will be going now." Sophie said. "I still need to get home and prepare everything."
"Oh, alright then."
Sophie and Emma stood up from the couch and went to the front door.
