The drive was just like it was the last time they were in a car together. Julian focused on his driving, and Emma just sat there trying her best not to look at Julian.
She could not use her phone, and she did not want to go into her mind and start to think about everything that has been happening.
She also thought about what Henry told her about trying to be open with Julian, but there was no way she could do that, because even if she wanted to do it, she was not used to it.
The drive continued and there was still nothing said between them, and it somewhat bothered Emma.
"If you have anything you want to say, you can say it, I am not a monster." Julian said from nowhere.
Emma was surprised he said something, and she was definitely not expecting him to say what he said, "No there is nothing." She said.
"Okay, I know you don't want to be here with me and I somewhat feel the same way, so we should get this over with and get back to our lives."
"Yeah okay."
