Aurora wasn't in a condition to answer him and fainted.
The young man's eyes widened as Aurora's body suddenly went limp.
"Hey, Aurora—!" He quickly caught her before she hit the floor, his strong arms holding her up.
Her face was pale, her breathing uneven. She was completely unconscious.
The hallway was empty—no teachers, no students. Just him, Aurora, and the dark classroom still filled with crawling insects.
The young man frowned, his blue eyes flashing with anger.
Who would do something like this?
But now wasn't the time to think about that. He needed to get her help.
Carefully, he adjusted his grip and lifted her into his arms. She was lighter than he expected, her body still shaking slightly.
As he carried her down the hallway, he could feel the rapid beat of her heart. She must have been truly terrified.
"Hang in there," he muttered, walking quickly toward the nurse's office.
