"You are quite the specimen," she purred. "I do not believe I've seen a three-stripe beastman as fine as you before."
Thalina's eye twitched. Was this happening? Was this female seriously trying to flirt with Tharion in front of her own males?
The males behind Selmara didn't even react. They looked... tired. One of them sighed quietly, as if this was a daily occurrence.
Thalina opened her mouth to say something, but Selmara stepped even closer to Tharion, brushing a finger along the edge of his sleeve. "Are you mated yet, honored one?" she asked sweetly.
Tharion's expression didn't change. "Yes."
Selmara's smile faltered for half a second before she laughed lightly. "Oh? And where is she? Surely, a strong male like you wouldn't be tied down so easily."
Thalina saw red.
Before she even realized what she was doing, she stepped right up to Tharion's side and slapped a hand onto his chest.
"He's mine."
The words left her mouth so fast she barely had time to process them.
