Thalina slowly exhaled and plastered on the sweetest, most condescending smile she could muster. "You know, you're absolutely right. I must be so hideous to only have one male."
She looked them up and down, dramatically assessing their everything before adding, "But if that's true… then why don't you all have ten?"

The females froze, their reptilian eyes narrowing. The lead one sputtered, "W-What—"
Thalina feigned innocence. "Oh? Did I say something wrong? Surely, with all that beauty and grace you have, you should have an entire harem of males, right?"
Tharion let out a low whistle.
The lead female's nostrils flared. "How dare you?!"
Another one hissed. "You're just jealous!"
Thalina tilted her head. "Of what?" She gasped dramatically. "Oh! You must mean the single male you have! My mistake."
Their smugness shattered instantly.
