Shikama Doji and Scathach entered a new area. Golden runes, like shining rings, enveloped Shikama Doji, and the surrounding space began to distort. Scathach stared at the scene in astonishment. Although she had also learned the golden runes from Shikama Doji, she could still only use them in their most basic form. Shikama Doji's runes were far more complex and beyond human comprehension. His 66 million years of knowledge surpassed any imagination. His runes were composed of millions of different seals, arranged in such a way that the structure of the runes remained unchanged. The human brain was incapable of comprehending such seals. These runes seemed to be made of countless conceptual pieces of information.
The space within a ten-kilometer radius around Shikama Doji and Scathach was severed from reality and transformed into an independent space. Simply put, this area became a small, new dimension where the laws governing reality held no meaning. This space resembled the small worlds of the Tower, but with fundamental differences. The small worlds of the Tower were dependent on Shikama Doji's existence and would instantly collapse without him, but this new dimension could continue to exist even in his absence and, over millions of years, evolve into a new world. This space was akin to a singularity or a Lostbelt, but Gaia and other celestial bodies would not allow such a thing to form, as it would lead to a meaningless war.
The golden runes once again coiled around Shikama Doji, completely severing this area from reality. Conceptually, this place was no longer connected to reality and was now merely a new world—a world outside the [Root] multiverse. This was a feat that could only be accomplished by special and powerful beings—beings of [higher dimensions]. The golden runes continued to spin, and the space began to expand. The small area rapidly grew, as if it were endless.
This new world was unlike the outside world. Topologically, it was a closed world, meaning that if you traveled in one direction, you would eventually return to your starting point. Geometrically, it resembled the surface of a sphere—a world with an infinitely large structure but with positive curvature, where traveling an infinite distance would bring you back to the beginning. The [Root] had no influence over it. However, this world was structurally much smaller than the outside world. Even for Shikama Doji, creating a world the size of the real world was impossible.
Scathach watched with wide eyes as this world was created. A complex magical circle formed around Shikama Doji and began establishing the fundamental laws of the world. An astronomical amount of energy was being consumed—energy equivalent to that of dozens of celestial bodies. If Shikama Doji did not possess nearly infinite energy, he would have been drained instantly.
After the fundamental laws were established, a massive mountain formed in front of Scathach and Shikama Doji. The size of the mountain was immeasurable, as if it were endless. Crimson blood began to flow from the top of the mountain, turning the surrounding area into a sea of blood. Shikama Doji spread his wings and hovered in the air. Scathach also used magic to keep herself afloat. Shikama Doji accelerated the flow of time in this world, and within a few minutes, an ocean spanning over 200 million square kilometers was formed.
Suddenly, numerous black spheres appeared in the endless sky and plunged into the ocean of blood. These spheres began to function like factories, producing monsters endlessly. The black spheres remained deep within the ocean, continuously generating monsters. Cold sweat dripped down Scathach's forehead. She almost understood what she had to do and what she had to fight against.
"It's exactly what you think. You must stay in this space for one year and survive," Shikama Doji said calmly and matter-of-factly. Scathach looked down and, using her sensory abilities, felt the presence of the monsters deep within the ocean. Their numbers were terrifyingly vast—hundreds of thousands, hundreds of millions, hundreds of billions... Their numbers were uncountable. But Scathach was not afraid. Without hesitation, she jumped into the ocean.
Shikama Doji watched her calmly. If Scathach did not possess the power of a chief god, she would never have done such a thing. With power at the level of a chief god, Scathach could survive, and her life was not in danger.
