Chapter 59 - original

In a mysterious laboratory, a restrained creature stared at the ceiling. Its appearance was so beautiful and androgynous that its gender was ambiguous; it seemed both male and female. Its crimson eyes shone like two crystals, and its silver hair gently waved in the cold air of the laboratory. A man with black hair and eyes, resembling a corporate employee, was staring at this creature. He had a smile on his lips and was looking at Shikama Doji (the original).

Saitō, who had been waiting for this moment for years, had finally managed to capture Shikama Doji (the original). After thousands of years of planning and scheming, he now wanted to uncover the past and origin of Shikama Doji (the original). Where had it come from? What was its true identity? And why had it tried so hard? What was its ultimate goal?

Shikama Doji said in a gentle tone, "I truly underestimated you, Rigr." Shikama Doji (the original) continued to look at Saitō with the same soft and calm smile, but this calmness was only superficial. Deep within, a storm of thoughts and plans was brewing. It thought to itself, "How did I end up like this? Where did I go wrong? I underestimated these lesser beings. I never thought such creatures could bring me to this state."

Shikama Doji's (the original) pride as a superior being had blinded it. It had failed to see the potential of these lesser beings, creatures it had created and regarded as worthless insects. This pride had acted like a weapon against itself. Plans that had been in motion for millions of years were now collapsing. Shikama Doji (the original) knew it had to devise new plans to escape this situation.

Suddenly, the space in the laboratory shattered like a broken mirror. Saitō and the others stared in shock at the fractured space. Before anyone could say anything, the space completely collapsed, and a being emerged from it. It was as if a sacred and majestic hymn echoed through the air. Saitō's eyes bulged, cold sweat dripped from his forehead, and his body trembled. He couldn't believe he was seeing another version of Shikama Doji before him. This wasn't an illusion; his senses told him this was really happening.

Saitō said in a trembling voice, "This... this is impossible..." But before he could finish his sentence, countless tentacles emerged from his body. His body underwent a transformation, his soul and flesh intertwined, and he turned into an Aldrich-like monster. The other members of the Hyakuya sect met a similar fate. They didn't even have the chance to beg for mercy. The fleshy, twisted Aldrich monster filled the entire laboratory, and whispers of madness and a starry sky echoed through the air.

Shikama Doji (the original) looked at this scene in shock. The aura, soul, and appearance of this new being were exactly like its own, as if another version of it had come from a parallel world. Suddenly, a thought crossed its mind: "Are you another version of me? From a parallel world?"

Shikama Doji (the original), gradually freed from its seal, Shikama Doji said in a calm voice, "You guessed almost right. But never mind, I've come to help you. Of course, before that, I need to get rid of a bastard. So wait a moment."

Shikama Doji spread its wings, and the space around it was engulfed in intense waves. Then it disappeared. Shikama Doji (the original) didn't wait long. The ground shook, In the vacuum, a colossal battle was underway. Two powerful beings, like two titans, clashed, and the entire solar system trembled from the force of their collisions.

Shikama Doji (the original) realized that this parallel version of itself was battling "God." Shikama Doji was a high-ranking outer god, a being whose corruption as an outer god could corrupt even abstract concepts. But the god it was fighting was just an ordinary high-ranking god, a being whose full power could destroy a planet. Perhaps it was one of the versions of the supreme god, but it didn't possess the authority of the "Omniscient and Omnipotent" Yahweh/Christ. It was merely an inferior version of the supreme god.

Fighting Shikama Doji under these circumstances wasn't bravery; it was pure foolishness. How could an inferior god fight against a cosmic horror like Shikama Doji? This battle was more like a joke.

Meanwhile, the sun also began to tremble. The consequences of this battle caused super tsunamis and earthquakes across the planet. The aftermath alone could nearly wipe out all life on Earth. The god fell. Its [spirit], [divinity], and [essence] were torn apart by Shikama Doji. Heaven, located near the sun, was destroyed.

Shikama Doji reappeared and said calmly, "Well, that bastard is done for. Now it's your turn." Shikama Doji (the original) was speechless. It couldn't believe what was happening. It seemed even more unreal than a dream.

Shikama Doji continued, "You don't need to say anything. I know what your wishes are." It gently stroked Shikama Doji's (the original) face with its hand. At the same time, space shattered again, and Yūichirō Hyakuya, the hero of the story, emerged. But before he could do anything, Shikama Doji knocked him unconscious.

Shikama Doji (the original) didn't know how close Mikaela was. The true identity of Yūichirō Hyakuya, the hero of the story, was actually Mikaela—the son of Shikama Doji (the original). Shikama Doji (the original) thought that Mikaela Hyakuya was merely a vessel for Mikaela's soul and that Yūichirō Hyakuya was a homunculus it had created. But it was wrong. Yūichirō Hyakuya was Mikaela himself.

Shikama Doji's golden scythe appeared, and a radiant light emanated from it. The conceptual identities of Yūichirō Hyakuya and Mikaela were separated, turning into two individuals. Although Mikaela and Yūichirō were one, Yūichirō's human memories had made him a separate personality. Shikama Doji decided to turn them into two distinct individuals. It created a complete body for Mikaela and transferred his soul into it.

Shikama Doji (the original) watched this process in shock. When it saw Mikaela come back to life so easily, it was even more shocked than when it discovered that Yūichirō was actually Mikaela.

Shikama Doji (the original) said in a trembling voice, "Thank you." This gratitude was sincere. It was overjoyed that Mikaela had come back to life, even more so than the destruction of heaven and god.

Shikama Doji replied in a gentle tone, "No need to thank me. Mikaela is somewhat my child as well." It stroked Mikaela's hair, and a paternal/maternal affection radiated from it.

Then Shikama Doji said, "Well, let me turn this hell into heaven." A golden aura surrounded it, and reality began to distort. Shikama Doji activated the spell of rewriting reality. With the authority of [distortion] and [change], the spell grew stronger. Now, as long as no being superior to Shikama Doji existed, its thoughts were pure truth. [Energy], [matter], [space], and [time] were all distorted, And the reality was distorted.
