"You are my mate, Aurora."
"I know, Zander. But this is your mother's necklace. How am I supposed to wear it?" I asked him. I felt his fingers under my chin as he gently lifted it up so that our eyes met.
"If she was still here, she would have given it to you. You are the beta female of this pack now and I think you should start looking the part as well." he insisted as I looked up at him.
"Why are you hesitant? He is our mate, so just take the necklace." Lily said when I finally nodded my head. I turned around when Zander helped me wear it along with the earrings. Once we were both ready, I grabbed my purse and phone, and we walked out of his house.
"Wait here," Zander told me while he walked to the garage, a few minutes later, the garage door opened, and a matte black Lamborghini stopped in front of me. After getting inside, Zander drove to the pack house.
