The heavy doors behind him were sealed for now, and pheromones no longer rolled under them, but the scent still lingered faintly in the air. He had cracked the windows earlier, when the air in the room had been nearly too thick to breathe.
He wasn't one for dramatics, but even he had his limits. Even if his words came across as a joke and Damian responded appropriately, he knew his master was aware of the gravity of the situation.
