After a brief pause, realization struck him.
"Ohhh… I see where the misunderstanding is."
He quickly waved a hand. "Hey, you're overthinking it. I don't belong to any family or the group whatsoever, My name is Eric Vaughn, and I am a doctor. Your father won't last until the ambulance arrives. Right now, I'm the only one who can save him."
His tone hardened.
"If you don't want to be making funeral arrangements for him soon, then get out of my way and let me do my job!"
