I turned to Ma, my brows furrowed. "What do you mean by the power of Gale, Ma? And Tor... he's the cause of the shift in power here in Paradise Bay?" My voice came out more uncertain than I intended.
Before she could respond, a presence stirred behind her. Elder Dante emerged from the shadows, his expression unreadable. He was followed closely by Rou, who looked downright stunned. His gaze locked onto Tor, and without hesitation, he rushed forward, his words tumbling out in a frantic ramble.
"I felt it," Rou said breathlessly. "The power of Sagstone Mountain, it's here. Right here, in the Kayne lands."
My eyes flickered from Ma to Rou, my pulse quickening. What was he talking about? Why was Sagstone's power tied to us?
