This line had kept Mila awake even at night since the day she read the rules. Right now, she sat in front of the mirror, watching her reflection as two women got her ready.
Since yesterday, she hadn't met Zyran, but she had learned that this was her room and that the one opposite belonged to Zyran. It had been just a day, and she hadn't had time to explore the house. Also, they had been feeding her properly.
Occasionally, Mila's eyes would shift to the brown paper she had kept close to her bed. Today, she was supposed to dress up and meet with Zyran and they'll get to leave together.
All these she heard from the butler.
Her schedule was already planned out for her. Ever since yesterday, Mila hadn't heard from or seen Cher. Her guess was right the woman wasn't happy and was disappointed in her.
