Even Zyran moved his laptop away and raised his face. "You want to take responsibility?"
Mila hadn't meant to say it that loudly, but since it got his attention, she nodded.
"Yes!" She nodded. And she meant it. It was her fault those servants were fired, and she wanted them to return, and that was by taking responsibility.
Zyran reclined in his chair. "You really want to take responsibility?"
"Um... y-es." Mila wasn't sure anymore. She didn't like the way Zyran was looking at her with those glasses.
Zyran nodded. Placing his hand on the table, he used it to prop up his face.
"So tell me, how are you planning on taking responsibility?" He stretched the last word, almost making an air quote.
Mila inhaled deeply. "The servants that were fired- I want them to return. All of them!"
"Servants?" Zyran raised his brows. "Oh, do you have a reason why?"
Mila wiped the sweat from her face. "I only wanted to leave the house... they shouldn't be fired."
"You're right," Zyran agreed.
