Zyran's jaw ticked when Mila turned each time to see if her ex-boyfriend was okay, yet he tried to remain calm until they got to the elevator.
"Take the other lift," Zyran spoke to the guards that were running behind him. He pushed Mila inside and pressed a button.
The guards quickly ran over to the other elevator.
Mila wasn't understanding anything; it was happening so fast. Before the door to the elevator closed, she checked once more to see if Ken was okay.
The guard had kicked him so harshly that Ken landed on his head, and he was crying.
"Are you worried?" Zyran asked finally after scanning the girl's face for a moment.
"Are you worried about your damned ex-boyfriend?" he repeated, this time raking his fingers through his hair.
Mila turned to look at him, craning her neck before she looked away.
"T-hey hit him," Mila replied, her hands in front of her.
