"What are you doing there, Ashley?" Lacie touched Ashley's head.
The young woman winced. "I don't know. I saw the three of you outside and decided to join the party."
"Three? It's just Lacie and me," Mila corrected, her face creased with worry.
Ashley frowned. "Wasn't it three? Ow..."
"Did I hit your head too hard?" Lacie asked, biting her lip to stop herself from laughing.
Ashley nudged Lacie's stomach. "You always trick me," she cried.
"Sorry, Ash, sorry, sorry." Lacie tried to hug her close and massage her head.
After a few seconds of consoling Ashley, the three girls sat on the stairs outside the house.
"It looks so magical with the sun setting," Ashley raised her hand to the sky, forming a beak with her fingers.
"It looks like a background from that animation... um..."
Lacie snapped her fingers. "Tears! Abby and Axel like it so much. They would love to be here."
"Yes, Tears! That one." Ashley agreed.
