Mila tried her best not to look up or act strange. She could feel someone was watching, and she knew exactly who it was. Mila tapped her feet nervously on the floor; she wanted to tell someone what she had just found out.
She needed to tell Lacie.
"Zy!" Rosita waved, welcoming the men who came back from the morning run.
Mila let the breath she was holding go when she heard Zyran's name. She looked up and saw him in those grey sweatpants that were covered in sweat, along with his usual white singlet and sneakers.
When their eyes met, Mila looked away, but she still watched him from the corner of her eyes. She was grateful he was back! The only crazy Montclair she could tolerate at this point, aside from Cher.
"We've been waiting to play a game to pick someone to make breakfast," Rosita said, stepping out of the water and reaching to wrap her body with a towel.
"And we- argh!!" Rosita fell back inside the water with a big splash.
