"Is this the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan?"
Bai Ye looked around.
Previously, when using the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception, the surfaces of objects were covered in dark purple lines that crisscrossed in all directions. However, after fusing with the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, those lines became much clearer.
Moreover, by focusing his vision, Bai Ye could now see the exact 'death points' hidden within these lines.
"Could it be that the Sharingan's inherent ability to perceive details has enhanced the observational power of the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception?" Bai Ye pondered.
After all, heightened perception was a fundamental trait of the Sharingan.
Then, Bai Ye slowly raised his left hand—awakening what was known in the Shinobi world as the "Power of the Gods."
Using his Shinigami-based spiritual energy, a skeletal arm materialized in the air. It resembled the demonic appendage of a celestial being. Slowly, meridians and flesh formed over the bone structure, composed entirely of pure, condensed Reiatsu.
This was the ultimate power granted by the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan—Susanoo, the manifestation of destruction!
However, Bai Ye's Susanoo was vastly different from any Uchiha's in the Naruto world.
It wasn't blue or purple.
Instead, its core burned with a blood-red hue, and rather than being enveloped by Chakra, its outer layer was a roaring flame of terrifying Reiatsu. The sheer heat it emitted distorted the surrounding air, as if it could incinerate anything in its path.
"The rewards from this trip were far beyond my expectations," Bai Ye murmured.
With this new power added to his arsenal, he had another trump card besides the Remnant Sword—one that wouldn't instantly set the entire Shinobi world ablaze.
Yet, as he scanned the secret underground base that Danzo had hidden so well, Bai Ye's gaze turned cold.
His eyes settled on the countless failed experiment corpses piled in the depths of the lab.
Konoha's infamous Root organization...
Danzo always claimed that everything he did was for the sake of Konoha.
But whether it was experimenting on Senju cells or forcefully implanting Sharingan, the process had been drenched in innocent blood.
In truth, everything Danzo did was driven by his own selfish desires.
Pure egotism.
Bai Ye took one last look around. Then, with a flick of his sword Ryūjin Jakka, he reduced the entire underground base to ashes.
Danzo would eventually realize his secret hideout had been destroyed.
But unlike Danzo, who would likely act cautiously, Bai Ye was unbothered.
If Danzo sought him out, Bai Ye wouldn't mind testing his resistance against Genjutsu firsthand.
And if Danzo didn't come to him, Bai Ye would go looking for him instead.
After all, within the Land of Fire, Danzo was one of the few individuals still possessing multiple Sharingan, aside from Sasuke—who had already defected, according to Tsunade's memories.
With that in mind, Bai Ye turned his attention toward Konoha.
For now, he had no intention of visiting other Shinobi villages.
He made his way back to Konoha, where, under Tsunade's leadership, the village was actively working to establish peaceful relations with other nations.
This also meant that Konoha's border security was relatively lax.
Moreover, with the illusionary abilities of the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, Bai Ye easily entered the village through the main gates.
As soon as he stepped inside, the monumental Hokage Rock loomed above, clearly visible under the moonlit sky.
Observing the peaceful village under the night sky, Bai Ye decided to rest for the night at an inn before planning his next move.
His goals in this world were clear.
Aside from obtaining the legendary Rinnegan and Tenseigan, both of which were already within his grasp, there were countless other extraordinary powers unique to the Naruto world—powers that didn't exist in the One Piece universe.
For instance...
The Ōtsutsuki Clan, who were willing to destroy entire worlds just to cultivate the Divine Tree's Chakra Fruit...
PS: The timeline has been adjusted to just before Pain's invasion of Konoha.
