"What the fuck do you mean?!" Larry barked shaking her to and fro.
"She took her.." Ali cried again.
Larry felt his world tilt on its axis.
Raven had abducted Millie.
He still didn't believe it. He couldn't believe it.
This is a joke! He told himself. It's gotta be a joke! It's gotta be!
Millie was the only left in his life whom he cared about. Lara is gone, now her too? If anything happens to Millie, he wasn't sure he could live with himself.
Just then, his phone rang.
He already knew who the caller was. He picked it up and put the phone on his ears.
"I remember when I did this with Lara." Raven's snickering voice came through phone, "It was fun. The trembling in her voice, the fear… I loved it. Too bad she's gone now. She'll be missed by no one, since you'll be joined her."
Larry closed his eyes, and clenched his trembling fist. Then in a husky voice that didn't sounded like his, he asked, "Is she okay?"
"Hmm, that depends." Raven replied.
