Lance, of course, was already well aware of this plan. Lance also knew that the remains of the dragon skeleton were buried beneath Rand Enterprises, owned by Danny Rand. However, there was one major obstacle: the dragon skeleton was sealed by an Iron Fist from a previous generation. Only the power of an Iron Fist could break that seal.
The Hand decided to shift their focus to the latest generation of Iron Fist, which was considered the weakest generation in history. They believed this was the best opportunity to break the seal. This generation of Iron Fist, although not as strong as its predecessor, eventually led a group of street heroes to form the Defenders Alliance. Together, they launched a series of wars against The Hand and also Kingpin, the emperor of the underworld.
However, Lance had a different plan. Lance did not care much about the war between The Hand and the Defenders, nor The Hand's goal of resurrecting the dead or extending life with dragon bones. Lance's interest in the remains of the dragon skeleton was more personal.
For Lance, the dragon bones were a treasure of immense value, far beyond their practical worth. Lance knew that if he could obtain the dragon bones and throw them into the *Infinite Altar*—a feature of the system he possessed—it would allow Lance to gain something extraordinary in return.
Lance looked at Kagenobu with a sharp gaze and said firmly, "Return to The Hand and continue Kagenobu Yoshioka's mission, but remember one thing—do not harm the innocent. However, if there is a conflict with the gangsters in New York, you are allowed to create as much trouble for them as possible. Kill everyone who has committed serious crimes; that is the priority."
Lance knew exactly what he wanted. Lance planned to form the *Black Lantern Corps*, with the first goal of handling dirty work like killing those who had committed crimes, and the second to give more power to the *Black Lantern Ring*. Kagenobu Yoshioka's identity was perfect for this mission. Coinciding with Nobu's task of competing for territory with other gangs in New York, Nobu could kill without hesitation.
"Understood!" Kagenobu Yoshioka bowed respectfully, truly enjoying the opportunity presented.
Lance smiled faintly, satisfied with Kagenobu's loyalty. "Leave your contact information. I will reach out to you again if necessary," Lance said in a softer voice.
"Understood!" Kagenobu nodded, following Lance's orders without hesitation.
"Let's go, and remember, don't be seen. You just died once," Lance reminded, his eyes suddenly flashing sharply.
Kagenobu perfectly obeyed the command. Where Nobu strapped his long scythe to his waist, he then agilely jumped out of the window. With trained skill, Nobu used the wall to slow his speed, landing softly on the ground and disappearing in an instant among the dark trees, blending into the night.
Lance watched Kagenobu's black shadow dart away, and in an instant, his mood felt much lighter. With a faint smile, Lance stepped toward the silver suitcase lying beside him. After a few seconds of thought, Lance slung Albino over his shoulder, and with steady steps, jumped out of the wide-open window.
The strong wind greeted him, whistling past Lance's ears, tousling his hair and clothes.
Where Lance enjoyed this sensation, the wind swirling around him brought a feeling of freedom and power.
As Lance was about to touch the ground, an invisible aura emanating from the *White Lantern Ring* enveloped his body. The energy slowed Lance's descent, and smoothly, he landed gently, as if no effort was needed to reach the ground.
*Baam!*
Lance's feet hit the ground with a sharp sound, echoing around him.
The *Leap of Faith* imitation was a huge success!
Faintly, the sound of sirens began to grow clearer, getting closer.
Lance pursed his lips, a thin smile appearing on his face. Swiftly, he lifted the "trophy" onto his shoulder, then quickly moved away from the location, making a wide circle around himself, and jumped out of the hunting ground through the same wall.
Outside, a Ford pickup truck was waiting patiently.
Ethan, standing next to the truck, opened the back door and promptly helped load Albino inside. With a slight complaint, Ethan said, "Oh my God, if you hadn't sent a message, I would have almost gone in to save you."
Even though they were far from the hunting ground, the chaotic sounds of gunfire and echoing explosions could still be heard clearly. It felt like a small war zone was taking place.
Seeing the tension on Ethan's face, who knew well the relationship between Lance and Vivi, Ethan felt worried. If anything happened to Lance, he could imagine himself becoming the target of Vivi's wrath—the crazy killer woman. And if that happened, wouldn't the entire Ethan family end up with a bad fate?
Lance shrugged, his expression remaining calm despite the tense situation. "I couldn't help it; something unexpected happened."
Ethan nodded, still worried but more focused on the completed mission. As long as everything went smoothly, he didn't care about minor issues. Where Ethan sat in the driver's seat, he stared at the silver suitcase lying in the back of the truck. Curiously, Ethan asked, "It seems you not only managed to complete the mission but also got the stuff you needed, right?"
Lance gently patted the suitcase, a small smile etched on his face. "That's right. The items inside are enough to bankrupt Wolf. Besides, the assassin organization's nest has been destroyed, and Albino is gone. Wolf will definitely come back to deal with this problem himself."
Ethan nodded, his eyes focused on the road, then quickly concluded, "So, no need for further interrogation, huh?"
"Yeah," Lance replied briefly, his eyes focused on the darkening horizon.
"Then, where are we going now?" Ethan asked, curious.
Lance looked towards the truck, his eyes sweeping the surroundings before answering, "Going to where Vivi is and handing that person over to her."
While directing their attention to their journey, Lance had already contacted Vivi during the trip; he just wanted to ensure everything went according to plan.
