--------------

What Guilliman did was like a storm that swept across the entire Imperium of Man.

Countless individuals were shocked by his actions.

The noble houses and political factions that had sought to test the Primarch's resolve fell silent.

No one dared to challenge the wrath of a Primarch, at least not openly.

Guilliman's newly formed Penal Legions were dispatched from the Natal System, condemned to fight in the Imperium's most brutal warzones.

Every soldier in these regiments was a scion of nobility, convicted of treason or corruption. To redeem the sins of their families, they would fight and die in fire and blood.

The purge of aristocratic corruption and the bureaucratic restructuring of Natalis occurred without significant resistance.

Guilliman, well-prepared for the consequences of his reforms, entrusted the governance of the system to Yasilli's team, ensuring the sector's continued stability.

With these matters resolved, the Primarch departed for the Konor System, where he would rally his Loyalist forces and prepare for the next stage of his Crusade.

----

The Konor System is a vital industrial hub of Ultramar, located on the outskirts of the Five Hundred Worlds.

Guilliman's forces, departing from Macragge, were spread across multiple warp routes, converging upon Konor to secure the region from xenos influence and establish a stable rear for future operations.

The significance of Konor extended beyond military strategy.

It bore the name of Guilliman's adoptive father, Konor Guilliman, the Consul of Macragge.

Unlike many of his Primarch brethren, Guilliman experienced a stable childhood, shaped by Konor's ideals of public service, governance, and reform.

His father's emphasis on meritocracy and civic duty left a profound mark on him, guiding his rule throughout his life.

Guilliman was the only Primarch to grow up with both parents.

His father was killed in a rebellion when Guilliman came of age, but his mother survived well into the Horus Heresy.

During the formation of the Imperium Secundus, she was nearly assassinated by Konrad Curze.

Only through the sacrificial efforts of loyal warriors was she able to escape and live out her final days in safety.

This upbringing played a crucial role in Guilliman's unyielding faith in humanity.

Despite suffering wounds inflicted by Chaos-corrupted weapons, he never succumbed to the Warp's influence.

His experiences reinforced his belief that humanity's greatest defense against Chaos was not mere strength of arms, but the presence of hope, family, and purpose.

"If people have nothing to cherish and nothing to strive for, then in a world of endless suffering, how could they resist the whispers of the Dark Gods?"

To honor his father, Guilliman named an industrial world in Konor's system after him, ensuring that his legacy would never be forgotten.

----

Beyond the Konor System lay the Charadon Sector, a region devastated by xenos incursions.

Once a crucial stronghold of the Imperium, Charadon was now a contested warzone, plagued by:

Ork Warlords – Massive warbands had overrun multiple worlds.

Necron Dynasties – Two ancient tomb worlds had awakened.

Internal Strife – Imperial forces struggled to maintain control.

Despite these challenges, Charadon remained strategically vital.

Its Forge Worlds produced massive quantities of weapons, tanks, and starships.

Its Agri-Worlds provided food supplies far beyond their own sector.

Its rich mineral deposits fueled the Imperial war machine.

To secure his rear lines and ensure continued supply lines, Guilliman had no choice but to retake Charadon.

But this would mean facing two of the Imperium's oldest and deadliest enemies.

-----

Orks are one of the most relentless and dangerous species in the galaxy.

The more of them that gather, the stronger and more intelligent they become.

During the Great Crusade, even the Emperor Himself was forced to confront the mighty Ork Empire of Ullanor, leading a campaign alongside nine of His Primarchs.

The Imperium triumphed, but the Horus Heresy prevented them from fully exterminating the Ork threat.

By M32, Orks surged back into prominence.

Under the leadership of the warlord known as The Beast, they launched a massive WAAAGH!

The Imperial Fists, defenders of Terra, were completely annihilated in an engagement with an Ork Attack moon, a mobile fortress with gravitational weapons capable of shattering fleets.

For the first time since the Horus Heresy, Terra itself came under siege.

The High Lords of Terra nearly surrendered before the arrival of Vulkan, the Primarch of the Salamanders.

Vulkan led a desperate counteroffensive, striking at the heart of the Ork stronghold on Ullanor.

In the final battle, The Beast killed the Chapter Master of the Imperial Fists in a single blow before being slain in combat against Vulkan.

At the time, six Ork warlords of similar strength existed across the galaxy.

Only their inherent disunity prevented them from wiping out the Imperium altogether.

Unlike other species, Orks do not wage war for wealth or empire-building.

They fight for the sheer joy of destruction, reveling in eternal conflict.

Left unchecked, they would turn on each other just to satisfy their insatiable thirst for battle.

To secure Charadon, Guilliman would first have to eliminate the WAAAGH! of the Arsonist Warlord.

But Orks were not the only danger lurking in the Charadon Sector.

The Necrons—ancient, soulless warriors of living metal—had begun to stir.

Their history stretched back over 60 million years, predating even the fall of the Old Ones.

Once known as the Necrontyr, they were a race plagued by genetic degradation and short lifespans.

Envious of the immortality of the Old Ones, they waged a futile war, only to be defeated and imprisoned on their homeworlds.

Desperate, the Necrontyr turned to the C'tan, the Star Gods, for salvation.

In their greed for eternal life, they sacrificed their flesh, becoming Necrons—soulless machine-warriors.

The Necrons, armed with unimaginable technology, ultimately betrayed and shattered the C'tan, consuming their essence.

However, with the Eldar Empire rising, the Necrons were too weakened to resist.

They entered hibernation, waiting for a time when the galaxy would be ripe for conquest.

Now, with the Imperium distracted and the Great Rift unleashed, Necron Dynasties were awakening once more.

----

As he studied the Charadon Sector's warzones, Guilliman furrowed his brow.

Orks. Necrons. A sector in flames.

If he was to reclaim the Imperium, he needed a new edge.

With Charadon's fate hanging in the balance, it was time to unleash the Primaris Space Marines.

The next phase of his Crusade was about to begin.
