Meliza's POV
"I thought we were going to a business meeting. Why did you bring me here?" I asked, frowning as Ethan pulled into the center of an open parking lot.
The vast space stretched out around us, empty except for a few distant lampposts standing like silent sentinels. The sky was painted in soft hues of gold and lavender, the sun beginning its slow descent beyond the horizon, yet the fading daylight still bathed everything in a warm glow.
Ethan, however, seemed completely unfazed by my confusion.
"Relax," he said smoothly, shutting off the engine. "We still have time to spare."
Without another word, he climbed out of the car and strode around to my side. A second later, my door swung open.
I hesitated. "What are we doing here?"
Ethan smirked, clearly enjoying my confusion. "I'm going to teach you how to drive."
I blinked. "What?"
