Damon stood at the bow of the ship, the captain and the rest of his numerically halved crew standing behind him with fearful expressions. This past hour had been hell, with Damon showing unparalleled ruthlessness by killing any sailor who slacked for even a second, making them rush to the shore faster than the ship could handle and causing extensive damage.
Now that they were here, they were happy to drop off this brown-skinned death god who seemed to treat human life even less than they did.
Damon turned to the captain and crew with a slight smile on his face.
"That wasn't so difficult, was it?" Damon mused, his silvery-brown eyes glinting with amusement.
The captain and his remaining crew didn't dare speak, their faces pale and their bodies rigid, as if any sudden movement would trigger Damon's wrath all over again.
