Silas's POV
As I told Damon everything, he listened to me with a calm face. But as soon as I was done, he glanced at the soldier.
"Is this kid really infected?" he asked.
But hearing that, one thing came to mind—there was no need to ask when I had already told him everything.
"Yes, Your Highness. We saw it with our own eyes. He just shifted into his true form."
Hearing this, Damon glanced at Velric, who was sitting on my lap in his true form.
The moment he saw him, a disgusting look appeared on his face, like Velric was some kind of garbage or something.
And then there was Look—his eyes were practically glaring at the kid. Velric hesitated, glancing at Damon, but the moment he saw those piercing eyes, he got scared.
"Mr. Damon, what's with that look in your eyes? Don't scare the kid." I hid Velric in my arms, holding him tightly.
And seeing Damon's reaction, it felt like he wasn't going to help at all.
"Silas, don't be stubborn. Give that kid to the soldiers right now."
