Silas's POV
Even when our lips were touching, I still felt kind of strange, like something unusual was happening to my body. And after a second, I parted my lips from Theron.
When I did that, he was looking at me with his mouth wide open, saliva dripping out. His intense gaze told me only one thing—he had lost his mind due to the rut cycle.
But I was in my right mind, so why did I end up kissing him? It felt like I was taking advantage of him.
"Sorry... I'm really sorry, Theron. I shouldn't have kissed you."
I gave a gentle push on Theron's chest while turning my head toward the door because I wanted to leave the bathroom now. I was also feeling strange—his pheromones were overwhelming.
His grip tightened on my waist, even with my slightest movement.
"I want you," he whispered into my ear in a husky voice.
I knew that if we really went further, I would regret it. Because right now, we were not in a mutual relationship.
